[The face on the screen is very human: a tall, well-built korean man in a dark blue winter jacket with white snow fresh in his hair. The accent, language, and name, however, match someone else entirely. Kang stuffs his hands into his pockets and leans against the wall of the office building behind him.]

I'm sure most of us that have moved on-planet have found lodgings. For those who haven't, or need repairs, I have more than enough experience with construction, and I can assist.

[He pauses, surprised.]

Have we? [Let him just take another few seconds to search his memory.] ... So by that you mean you've only disguised yourself as a Man...?

[A nod.]

A spell. I wouldn't be able to survive going outside in this weather on most days otherwise.

[walkingarsenal]

[There's an acknowledging nod that comes with a hint of amazement.]

... What form would you take, if not for the weather?

[governorkang]

Surely your brother has told you what I am.

[He shrugs, once, and lets go of the spell to show how his real form. He's already tall as a human at 6'4", but he grows even taller, to seven feet. His scales are a dark shade of bronze with a tarnished appearance at the edges, and his wings are folded behind his back. The dark blue jacket he's wearing turns into a heavy, well-made cloak, and now the gold chain he wears around his neck is visible.

His yellow, reptilian eyes show amusement as he quirks an eyebrow ridge.]

And surely you remember me now.

[He definitely does. This form, after all, would be particularly difficult to forget. But regardless of what Kang appears to be, he is here for the same reasons as everyone else. Fili remembers, too, that he came off as nothing but helpful.]

It... hasn't exactly come up in any amount of detail. But I remember you. [Another slight pause.] What I said about meeting you still stands.

[governorkang]

You're surprisingly calm, compared to your uncle and brother.

I had planned on stopping by the forge tomorrow to begin helping with repairs.

[At that assessment, Fili chuckles a bit. To be honest, part of the reason for his apparently successfully hiding any natural unease may be the fact that he's looking at a moving image on something that he can hold in his hands. At least for now.]

I trust them, and they must have come to trust you. [No doubt it wasn't overnight.] If they were under some spell, I would know. [And if anyone got eaten.

There's a nod.] We'd be grateful for the help.

A trust I wouldn't dare damage.

[He smiles, and nods as well.]

It wouldn't be the first I've worked on a forge.
