We should not return to Earth.

We should stay here.

I know that may be an unacceptable proposition to some of you, especially after the most recent difficulties with opening the agricultural wing.

But from the perspective of safety and advantage, this is better.

Even at its widest point, the English Channel is only 240 kilometers.

Why do you believe we have a greater advantage on the Moon?

All we can truly do to beat the United Earth is continue to change past events.

This is a safer place to continue to do that, uninterrupted.

Only because there isn't anywhere else we can go.

But it isn't safe here, either. Once we save Exsilium, we need to return there.

And put ourselves directly back into the same line of fire as before? There will be nothing stopping them from undoing our fix.

It's only a matter of time before they discover us here and attack this base. We may be in their line of fire wherever we go, until we stop them.

But from up here, we can't fight to defend Exsilium.

We can't defend Exsilium while we're there, either.

We can. We have to.

and why do we have to? if they drop nuclear bombs on the city again, what will we do different from the first time?

We must find a way to prevent a nuclear strike from ever happening again.

I have a feeling that would be quite a feat. It's been over a thousand years since they were invented in this world.

It would be one solution, though - to that problem.

I know. Bringing an end to this war won't be an easy feat. We don't have the answers yet.

As long as we don't give up and continue to press forward together, we'll find the solution.

Safer for whom? Even if we prevent the UE from dropping nuclear bombs on Exsilium, they could still attack the city with ships and soldiers. They've done it in the past. We need to be there in order to defend it.

Staying here isn't doing nothing. We'd still be trying to defeat them through time travel.

I know it's dangerous, and what the UE can do is truly horrifying. And they will attack the Moon once they've found us. I'm sorry, I don't believe you should remain here.

Understanding your feelings means I understand why you want to return.

I just don't see the point of returning to Exsilium unless we can ensure that it won't just get bombed all over again. And if we can change time enough to accomplish that, we might as well just focus on the ultimate goal.

We have to.

I don't believe the UE knows we're here. A little while ago, a Transport obtained documents that indicated they hadn't investigated the Moon yet, but they will soon. When they launch something called a rover.
