[Well, Asbel has managed to pull himself together. And he's finally figured out that setting the tablet down on a flat surface before he starts recording is a pretty good idea. Despite young face and unruly hair, he seems determined, and the brief smile he offers is kind.]

Hey, everyone.

I'm sure some of you know this already, but a good friend of mine, Cheria Barnes, recently left us. While she was here, she ran a relief organization, and I really feel like we should keep it going. Possibly now more than ever.

Its purpose is to help people during and in the aftermath of difficult situations and to get them what they need, whether it be medical attention, food, a place to stay...maybe a listening ear, or a shoulder to cry on, or skills so they can go out and do the same for others.

There aren't any requirements to be a part of this. You don't have to be a medic or a fighter or have super powers of any kind. As long as you want to help out, we'll gladly welcome you. And if there's something you'd like to learn, then we'll make every effort to teach you how.

We could definitely use more help, though, as well as some people who'd be willing to help manage things and keep them running smoothly. If you're interested in getting involved in any way, come talk to us about it. And if you aren't comfortable discussing things over the network or in front of a group, you're more than welcome to contact me directly or see me in person. My name's Asbel Lhant.

That's a long time... [ The knights back in Terca Lumireis don't usually have to study that long to attain knighthood. At least, neither Yuri and him expected to be "cadets" for that long. Neither was there a Knight Training Academy... ]

[Asbel colors, reminded of how he once declared he'd become a knight within a year. Tops.] Oh... Well, I guess I had a lot to learn. Back then I was still just a kid, and even though I knew it wouldn't be easy, I had a tendency to overestimate myself.

[It probably took that whole first year to teach him to stand still.]

[Recovering, he manages a polite nod.] No problem. It's very nice to meet you.

[ He shakes his head with a smile. ] I didn't mean it was a bad thing. Just that- when I'd joined the knights, our training didn't last long as that. But I suppose it's a different system...

Having a Knight Training Academy doesn't sound bad. If you don't mind, I think I'll suggest that to His Majesty when I return to our world...

It seems like it. At the academy, students aren't allowed to graduate until the instructors think they're ready. Some study for years and years before they can become full-fledged knights.

So you and your comrades completed training together? At the same time?

[Tell him about it Flynn. Tell him everything.]

Well, it's not as if I came up with the idea? The academy's been a part of Windor for many generations. But I don't think King Richard would mind if you brought it up to your own monarch.

Around the same time. To be honest, as soon as we'd enlisted, I suppose you could call us knights already. A friend of mine was only with us for around a month but I could easily call him a "former knight".

Are you taught anything else in the Knight Academy?

Interesting. So you basically become a knight first and then you learn all the skills required of you? [If he knew said friend was Yuri he would never believe it... It doesn't really seem like that guy's style at all.]

Yes, of course. History, geography, etiquette, how to survive out in the field? While I was studying under him, the Captain was always teaching me things. Although I have to admit, I'm not sure if everything he taught me was actually true...

[The last part's shared in a light-hearted way, as if Asbel's attempting a joke. Captain Malik was an excellent instructor, and he will never deny that, but he's also very..."Malik".]
