[Shortly after Rin's post a video feed opens on the network, apparently being made from the same location she was in, since the camera doesn't show the person making the video, rather the camera is on Rin in the distance, who doesn't appear to be aware she's being watched.]

Hello? Ah, this thing on? Yeah, it is - good!

[A definite male voice, cheerful but sounding just that bit sly.]

I'm afraid ya' may have just seen my student tryin' to skive off of her lessons by startin' up a few conversations with most of you in the middle of a training session. She's a real lazy, ungrateful type, y'know? So try not to enable 'er by respondin'.

[There's a slight pause, before the voice sighs to itself lightheartedly.]

Kids these days, huh?

[Suddenly the camera feed rapidly closes in on Rin, though the video feed shuts off just before it gets her.]

Good. [SULLENLY staying right on this cold comfortable ground that isn't coming at her with a sword.]

[His demeanor doesn't change in the slightest; no judgmental stares, no stern talkings to, nothing. Instead, he properly seats himself on the ground cross-legged in the midst of the rain and the mud, reaching inside of his jacket and procuring a small bag.

It isn't too long before he's offering her an apricot from within it.]

Yer' probably hungry after all that playin' around, huh? You want one?

[She lifts herself up on her elbows and stares very suspiciously.]

Is this the part where I say yes, and you yank it right out of my hands and tell me I can only have it if I get up?

[He just shakes his head.

If she tries to take it, he even will let her have it.]

[A very suspicious look. But... she reaches out so tentatively, ready for it to be yanked out of her reach and then be laughed at...]

[Don't be so paranoid, Rin! He totally lets her take it.

After she does, he pulls out another for himself and takes a bite out of it; the closest thing he can get to a persimmon, sadly, but it's still enjoyable.

Then, after a little bit of nothing but the sound of the rain;]

I'm gonna kill all yer' friends, by the way.

[Her face does a weird all-over twitch of horror.]

[Well now she sits up! She looks so mad.]

That's unfair. How is repeatedly beating into the ground ACTUALLYhelping me get better? Also... [a slight hesitation, then accusing:] If you really wanted to, there's no way I could stop you even if I really tried.

[He rests his elbows against his lap, steeples his fingers and rests his chin against them, grinning at her.]

Don't you wanna be able to, though? Wouldn't ya' love to be able to punch me right in the face an' I'd be too slow to react, or ya' caught me off guard, an' it actually hurt?

Gettin' over this idea that I'm so intimidating that instead of fightin' me proper, ya' run off an' cry to the network instead about how awful I am?

She just really hates getting tossed down again and again ok. She at least is motivated to sit up though, even if she just folds up and looks sulky instead of enthused or anything. BECAUSE SHE KNOWS HE'S RIGHT.]
