[Shortly after Rin's post a video feed opens on the network, apparently being made from the same location she was in, since the camera doesn't show the person making the video, rather the camera is on Rin in the distance, who doesn't appear to be aware she's being watched.]

Hello? Ah, this thing on? Yeah, it is - good!

[A definite male voice, cheerful but sounding just that bit sly.]

I'm afraid ya' may have just seen my student tryin' to skive off of her lessons by startin' up a few conversations with most of you in the middle of a training session. She's a real lazy, ungrateful type, y'know? So try not to enable 'er by respondin'.

[There's a slight pause, before the voice sighs to itself lightheartedly.]

Kids these days, huh?

[Suddenly the camera feed rapidly closes in on Rin, though the video feed shuts off just before it gets her.]

[On HIGH ALERT thank god; she catches a flicker of his motion out of the corner of her eye in just enough time to drop, roll, and... take temporary shelter under a nearby cart loaded with vegetables, COMPLETELY INVISIBLE and hyperventilating. FUCKIN.

She cranes around after a moment, trying to find his... ankles. After being whooped on by him consistently, she's not too worried about him being seriously injured by her trying to cut him off at the knees.

Mostly because her confidence she can pull that off levels in at about zero. :/]

[This time however, there is no getting away easily - he starts trying to see if he can sense her location, though whether or not that's something her cloaking will allow is another thing.]

[Yeah, well, NEXT TIME!!! She can hear him, good, that helps pinpoint where he is. She scrambles out what she thinks is the other side on her elbows and knees, getting soaked and muddy as she does.

The stealth technique is pretty powerful by now. It's not just her visibility to the eye; it extends beyond what's corporeal and pushes off most kind of sensings on a telepathic level. What is that? That's nothing, the push on the mind of those around constant.

She tries to stay light on her feet by reflex anyway, searching for him, getting ready again. See if she can't get a cut on him. At least something, it would be gratifying.]

[He can't help but wonder if it is something external trying to distract him from her location, making it hard to focus...but despite the number of people around, he tries more to focus on sounds made by people disrupting the ground around him rather than trying to sense anything supernaturally.

Mostly it's the puddles of water he's trying to take into account - there'd be a difference in the noises made by someone just walking and someone deliberately trying to be sneaky...so after a few seconds of contemplation, he takes a stab at an area nearby, where he thinks she might be.]

[Got her! Rin leaps back with a yelp, concentration flickering enough that she leaps into visibility, at least not dropping her sword. But she's gonna be nicked and leaving a blood trail now.

It takes less than a second before she decides to just go for it, and lunges at him.]

[Unfortunately she's still far too slow, what with being limited by being human, but instead of blocking her he reaches out with his free hand and takes a firm hold of the blade of her weapon, pushing back to stop her from hitting him, but holding on so she doesn't slip away again.]

So close! I was almost tempted to use my weapon to block, even.

[Her face kind of twitches in outraged desperation. Since he's holding her blade (FUCKIN), she shifts her weight onto one foot, raises the other foot, and aims a stomp at his knee.

IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL RIN IS ON THE GROUND REFUSING TO STAND UP AGAIN.]

Unfortunately, all it takes is a step back and then a swift tug of her weapon by the blade to suddenly pull her towards him, with the intention of throwing her off of her balance as she tries aiming that kick.

Ack - [the most ridiculous tiny noise of alarm. She still hits, though the blow is much more glancing now; double unfortunately, the wet ground and the fact that she's ALREADY slicked with mud all over are suddenly taking toll. Rin flounders for her footing after her hit connects - so much more disappointingly than she wanted! - seems like she almost might get it... and then faceplants in the mud at Gin's feet.
