I know this is a bit of a strange request, but... We kind of need a person to take care of our friend -- [A bright voice in the background interrupts Tsuzuki's feed, making him jump. "A babysitter!"]

Shhh Watari! He's going to be mad if he hears you. Anyway, he's sick and need someone to help look after him. Not long. Just until--

[An excited voice is heard in the background, once again. "Bon's a good kid! Just remember to let him rest and feed him three times a day. And don't feed him spicy food!"]

Yeah. He can't handle things like that. But anyway, if anyone can help us look after him for a day or two I'll try to pay you. Might take a while though.

The two of us were at the prime of our lives- well, I was! - and you've always had excellent constitution [ Not to mention rapid-healing even when you were alive ] so that's probably why he was more susceptible to it.

[Hisoka is not wrong. Once he knows just how sick his partner is, it's much easier to stop himself from fretting. Tsuzuki locks eyes with Hisoka for a moment, trying to give him some comfort simply through offering him easy, pleasant emotions.]

How long have you been feeling sick now?

[He can't really blame Tsuzuki. Hisoka himself would be worried if his partner were sick and their roles were reversed. Regardless, that doesn't mean he needs to be happy about this 'babysitter' plan of theirs. The soothing emotions wash over him and calm him a little though, his chest heaving as he sighs.]

I don't know. It's been a few days at least. But it doesn't seem like I'm the only one. I've heard others are in hospital.

[Tsuzuki's big reward is when Hisoka sighs. It means he's doing something good for him. Once his partner's properly relaxed, he runs his fingers through his fine hair. Hisoka deserves some good touches now and again, even though he says he hates it.]

I hope you won't get that sick.

[He will always protest and be in denial about the touching, but it is undeniable he has become more tolerant of Tsuzuki and his physical affection over time they've been partnered together.]

I won't. I'm sure my healing will stop it getting too bad that I have trouble breathing and need to be hospitalised.

[Hisoka could pretend to hate it if he needed to. Tsuzuki will continue to offer hugs and cuddles for as long as his partner subconsciously leans into the touches, like he needs them. He knows his family didn't treat him right, so he's trying to make it up for him.]

I wish there was some spell that could make you okay again. It's not fair that you have to be sick while I'm not.

I'll be fine. If this is something the United Earth pulled, there's bound to be some kind of antidote or cure for it. I'm just glad you and Watari-san seem to be okay at least.

[The situation could have been worse if all three of them were sick, after all. Hisoka knows Tsuzuki is much more physically affectionate, and over time has come to tolerate it more, even perhaps accept it in some ways, as much as he instinctively pouts and protests.]
