[ It takes a bit of shaking the thing about. Despite the tutorial, this is so different to Edmund that he can't seem to fully grasp it at once. He eventually seems to get that it's recording, though, and the shaking stops. ]

Um, hello. While a great deal of things have certainly been explained to me, and I'm doing my best to try and catch up on it all, I did have a question I was hoping people might be able to answer for me.

Have you come across anyone with the last name "Pevensie"? I'm looking for my brother and sisters. Or even just one of them, maybe. Lucy? Are you here?

[ He's not used to world jumping without her and he's hopeful she'll get the message. He presses his lips together a little more roughly, trying not to convey too many of his nerves and keep up a mostly regal appearance. ]

I've just arrived as well and though there are many children here, I'm afraid I haven't heard of any others searching for their siblings. I'll keep an eye out for you, if you'd like.

[ Children. That wooooord. He smiles all the same though, giving a nod of appreciation. ]

Thank you, ma'am. It'd be appreciated. Lucy's the youngest and the one most likely to stand out if she shows up. Bit of a talker, that one. And then Peter and Susan are the others, in case they give their first names only.

Do you all look the same?

Susan looks the most like me, but she's got bright blue eyes instead, and she's a bit bookish, so she'll probably talk a lot. And Lu's hair is a little lighter, but otherwise she looks just like Susan and me, and she's very ... bubbly, I guess is a good word for it. Peter's got blond hair and blue eyes, bit more built than I am, definitely taller and --

A bit of an ego. If anyone who fits that description starts introducing themselves with a long winded title involving High King and Noble Order, that'd be Pete.

Very proud then. [ She laughs lightly. There's no way she would miss someone like that, young or not. ] Then you must be prince.

King also, actually. Just King though. Peter's the High King. It's a little weird sounding, I know.

You have two ruling kings? Does that make both your sisters queens, too?

Yes, exactly. Susan's High Queen, Lucy's Queen. We each rule over a section of the Empire of Narnia. Or... did, I guess.

I've never heard of an empire with two kings and queens before. [ Strange, but not the strangest thing she's ever heard.

She smiles. ] It's an honor meeting you then, your Majesty.

Oh - you don't have to do all that. It's - I mean, just Edmund is fine. Really.

Are you sure? [ When she tilts her head, her hoop earrings shimmer, catching the light off the room. She feels strange in here and would much rather be in the ocean. She'll have to go out into water eventually. ] Then please call me Mera.

[ So shiny. He can't help but think about how much Lucy would like those earrings. ] Sure as can be. It's nice to meet you, Mera.

A pleasure. [ He's quite young for a king!! ] Narnia is the name of your kingdom, you said?

[ He just looks really great for his age. ] That's right.

Is it on Earth?

No, it isn't. It used to be constantly accessible from it, but that changed before I ever stumbled into the world.

[ Eyebrow lift. ]

You're not from that world originally?

No, ma'am. Born in London, originally. We didn't find Narnia until the war.

The war?

The Second World War, I guess is what they're officially calling it.

Ah, my history of the land above isn't as knowledgeable as most people.

It's alright. It's uh - it's a mess, is what it is. A good portion of Europe is at war with one another and the city I live in was constantly getting bombed. So our mum did what a lot of parents did and sent us off to live in the country to be safe at the home of a family friend.

I've heard a bit. Many ships were sunk along with explosives over the years. We've been fortunate enough to recover some, but not all. The ocean covers most of the world, after all.
