002 ☃ video ☃ project #1 ... start?

Does anyone know where to get plants around here? In particular cherry saplings or seeds?

Also, a lab I can borrow would be very helpful! I promise to clean to clean up after and not leave any surprises

My payment for borrowing... would be my help in the form of an invention! Something to make your life easier! You have to tell me what you need, of course, and then let me borrow your lab again... to use for my invention, of course!

Gynecology...

[He'll admit, it's not a bad choice for a hobby.]

The, uh, Initiative accepts Transports for research associates and R&D positions here, if you're interested. Hell, between you, me, and the video screen? They're starving for help. Not too many natives left around here that have a PhD, if you understand what I mean.

Well, quality counts, but they're glad to even have lab techs now.

[He shrugs.] Other than the game of temporal chess they're playing, it's still a war. Most of their energy is focused on winning it. Weapons development, secure communications, the technology to actually keep people fed in a hellhole like this, any practical thing you can imagine.

Exactly what I thought when I signed up.

Now... What's this about cherry trees?

[Oh man. They were only everywhere in Seattle when he was growing up--]

I, ah... I have, but it seems like a little superficial to beautify a place that can barely keep us alive.

I admit, they could use a boost of morale, but I'd be more concerned with rehabilitating the soil and improving water filtration before we start planting ornamentals.

[No matter how nostalgic.]

I'm sure they'd give you plenty of lab time if you lent some of you expertise to their projects as well as your own.

[His sense of priorities will fit right in around here.]

Not anything too grueling. Ostensibly they'll ask your credentials, but other than that all you have to do is negotiate the guys in admin up in the Hold.

((ooc: No application process either that I know of, I just checked with the mods before saying Gordon got a job there as a research assistant.))
