Hello. A couple things:

1 -- Are there any licensed therapists around here? Before you ask: yes, it's exactly what it sounds like, and before you volunteer like the good samaritan you are, I should probably inform you that I gave my last counselor a nervous breakdown.

So. Just figured I'd point that out. But hey, why not give it another shot, right? Even better if you know a thing or two about neurocybernetics, but that's not a must. We can work out some form of payment.

2 –- Another vending machine at the station went missing. What the hell is up with that? Whoever's doing this, are you deliberately trying to annoy me and keep me from doing more important work or what, while I'm chasing a vending machine thief. That said, we're low on staff. Go sign up if you have nothing better to do with your time, but don't touch any fucking vending machines. Unless you just want to get a drink, I guess that's okay.

3 -- Your thoughts on pursuing a serious relationship while trapped in this place. Go.

Yes. The Initiative has no set pattern on who stays and who goes. The arrivals are predictable. Exiting is another matter.

That, I can't answer. If you feel confident that whoever you're with isn't going to leave any time soon, it might be worth a shot. Come to think of it, the only reason I ever tried was to keep myself sane. Yes, it hurts when they're gone, but I still feel human. It might be different for you.

I don't know. Sometimes it feels like I'm trying too hard, when I know, realistically, that we wouldn't have a future together anyway.

And that's what's most important to me. Call me old-fashioned, but I only want one woman for the rest of my life. That's all I want.

I'm always getting mixed signals. I just know it's difficult for her, too. That, and I'm probably an idiot.

Women are good at that. They know just where to strike us to make us look like fools, yes? Maybe not all the time, but they have that skill down to a science. Why don't you ask her and find out?

Pretty sure that's just going to make things worse. I really wish it could be that simple, to go and ask 'how do you feel about us'. She's not like other women. I like that. But it makes everything complicated and me, I don't know what the hell I'm doing anymore.

The complications of a woman's mind... Hm, maybe you could just let nature take its course. If whatever happens between you two happen, don't fight it. It's never easy. I wish it were simple.

Yeah, maybe you're right. I know I need to relax, but that's not easy either when it feels like you got time working against you.

Either way, you can't just let life pass you by. Time is an odd mistress to handle and she's quite demanding of attention when she wants it. I think you do what you feel is best for you.
