[On the screen is a blond woman, to all appearances human and doing a not-quite-perfect job hiding the kind of resigned annoyance only seen in those for whom getting hauled across space and time is just a bothersome day at the office. She's instantly recognizable to people from a wide number of related universes—it's Susan Richards, the Invisible Woman, visible for this conversation and wearing a black-and-white version of the Fantastic Four's classic blue uniform with the distinctive "4" logo on the chest. It's been almost two days and there's no sign of her teammates, so it's time to cast a wider net.]
Hello. My name is Susan Richards. I'm going to swallow my pride and assume that doesn't mean anything to most of you. [The necessity of doing so doesn't seem to bother her, even though the idea of not being known on sight is strange. Sue laughs a little, and lets go of her irritation. The only real problem here is that her family isn't, and that's always been a self-correcting state of affairs.]
If it does, however, do me a favor and check in? Avengers, X-Men, SHIELD—I'm not picky. [Sue's already run into two people from home. Maybe there are more. She'll even take villains, if only so she can keep an eye on them.]
Everyone else, nice to meet you. Lovely weather we're having, isn't it?
[OOC: Fourth-walling is okay as long as your character's not going to be a jerk about it. Canon fail post is thisaway.]

I think it might be academic unless Brian shows up.
[It's not like anyone's checking their passports.]

It's been months that I've been stuck here. Not too many people've shown up.

Reed and the others should be here soon.
[That's how her life has worked this far. Bucky can catch a ride home with them.]

I don't really know, either. Once I asked Reed to explain the math to me. He started writing equations in what I'm pretty sure was Kree.
no subject
Did they bring you in? Or did… something else send you?
no subject
I think it was the Initiative. If Reed was running a new experiment, he didn't tell me.
[And you'd think he'd have learned his lesson on that by now.]
no subject
Me neither.

[She got it this time.]

What— when is the loop, for you, exactly? Where you're from. Time travel's way above my pay grade.
[ But hey the FF is supposed to be good at it. ]

[Or something. Who the hell knows. The timeline weirdness is even weirder than usual in that run. Sue's from after Fear Itself, anyway. And pretty much everyone who isn't directly involved with Thor is pretending Fear Itself didn't happen, anyway.]
no subject
Hey. For me, too.
no subject
The last worldwide crisis for me was a Kree invasion.
[And also crazy space gods trying to kill her husband, but that one's not really common knowledge.]
no subject
Do those happen a lot?
no subject
Not recently. They've been busy fighting Annihilus and the Shi'ar. And I think they had a Phalanx incursion at one point.

[ He's probably read a few of those names in files, but Bucky majored in "goofy Nazi villains who probably should be dead by now but comics." He can recognize Iron Hand Hauptmann right-off, he had trouble with Kang. ]

Well, they almost destroyed New York [you know, like always] and then Galactus and several Celestials showed up, so I think you're a bit behind me.
[Because that's hard to miss.]

[Superhero small talk, ladies and gentlemen.]
no subject
[ Not really, but he's been faking it. ]

[I don't even remember if they've ever faced Dracula but probably so eh.]

The machine. It brings people back.
no subject
The one that brought us here?
[Bucky you should feel bad for lying to Sue.]
