[It's late, but apparently tonight is a night Lacus is having a harder time sleeping. So she's still awake, trying to keep Haro from being too loud and waking Cagalli or Sheryl. She decides to check the tablet, maybe others are in a similar position, being friends from home but from different points, like she and Kira were. Maybe they might have some advice that might help. She never had particularly thought of it as an issue, not until Kira had brought it up with the fireworks earlier last month.]

I don't suppose....any others here have friends from home that are from different points? I have one who remembers two years more than I do. I didn't really think anything of it initially, but I'm just wondering how others might have dealt with it, that might help. Two years doesn't seem like that long, but a lot can happen.

[Well. That and, she figures things get more serious and intimate between them over that time. For her, they had only recently started dating, but for Kira they had been for a good while by the point he ended up here as well. That is probably her main concern, though she knows Kira would never push her on it, and that he had assured her it was okay to tell him if she wasn't comfortable. But she doesn't want to upset him either.]

I'm sure some bad news certainly would, especially knowing they probably can't do anything to change it, if it has already happened for you and we forget what we are told and learn here.

Exactly my thoughts on the matter! How can I burden them with such knowledge? I would be very cruel indeed, to place such a weight upon them.

I suppose. I guess I haven't quite considered things like that, when besides Kira, Athrun and Cagalli and I seem to be more or less from the same time back home.

I do not understand why this Initiative would bring us here, as well as our friends, and yet not ensure we come from the same moment in time. Perhaps it has to do with all these problems they have with their metal machines when we go on missions.

It does cause a lot of confusion, that is true. It would be easier in some ways to have us all remember more. I'd hate to think perhaps a friend came from later on after another friend did something that they had yet to know about and they were upset and annoyed about it. But perhaps that might be the reason....I'm not sure how it all works, exactly.

Perhaps we should not try to guess, for we shall only become more confused.

I should hope so! Some here would be less hostile if they provided answers to these puzzling questions.

I'm sure they would be. I understand some measure of frustration at our situation, but they wouldn't have pulled us all here if they did not need us.

Yes. I do not mind helping them in their war, for I know wars do spread. If this helps my home in any way, then I shall see it done.

Of course. If we can stop them here from going further and attacking our homes, that would be the most ideal, rather than the war spreading like that. It's bad enough that the war is threatening our homes, let alone to think it very well could do so and escalate like that.

Yes. My world has seen enough of war.

As has mine. So, if being here and helping the Initiative means we get a chance to prevent more fighting back home....I'd prefer that we try to stop things escalating sooner.

It's good to know there are other here that feel the same, at least. Although I may not be able to fight, I will still strive to find another way to help end all this.
