[It's late, but apparently tonight is a night Lacus is having a harder time sleeping. So she's still awake, trying to keep Haro from being too loud and waking Cagalli or Sheryl. She decides to check the tablet, maybe others are in a similar position, being friends from home but from different points, like she and Kira were. Maybe they might have some advice that might help. She never had particularly thought of it as an issue, not until Kira had brought it up with the fireworks earlier last month.]

I don't suppose....any others here have friends from home that are from different points? I have one who remembers two years more than I do. I didn't really think anything of it initially, but I'm just wondering how others might have dealt with it, that might help. Two years doesn't seem like that long, but a lot can happen.

[Well. That and, she figures things get more serious and intimate between them over that time. For her, they had only recently started dating, but for Kira they had been for a good while by the point he ended up here as well. That is probably her main concern, though she knows Kira would never push her on it, and that he had assured her it was okay to tell him if she wasn't comfortable. But she doesn't want to upset him either.]

Yes, I guess so. [Though, in some ways it is almost hard to pinpoint the moment they really decided to take things further. It just sort of happened, over time and naturally after the final battle in saving Earth.]

Oh, thank you. It's...not really how any of us expected things to end up, with me being engaged to Athrun and all, but...well, I'm just glad we are all happy together, Athrun with Cagalli and Kira and I.

You have more friends here?

I do! Athrun found me when I first showed up, and Cagalli happens to be one of my room mates here.

Must really help with dealing with everything here.

Oh, yes. I can only imagine what it might be like arriving here without any friends from home to help out.

It would be. Arriving here is overwhelming enough at first without worrying about whether your friends are here and all right and there to help you through everything.

Since late October now.

That's still quite a while. I wonder who of us here have been here the longest. [Lacus can only imagine being in such a situation for as long. At least the war back home lasted a little over a year but she's figures things here might have started up longer ago than that.]

I don't think this operation of the Initiative's has been going on longer than a year.

So, less then twelve months, at least. Perhaps if we keep at it, we can stop things from escalating further before too many more worlds are potentially at risk.

The problem is everything is disorganized here.
