So hi there. Uhm. Right. So I'm Drift. And I've got just a few questions.

First is that uh. I'm becoming abundantly aware that I'll probably need to find a better way to fit in here for obvious reasons. I do have something called a "Holoform" which allows me to project a solid holomatter representation of a human. But I'm really. Not a human. So there's that.

I guess what I'm asking is for some help in how humans or organics are really supposed to act.

Second, I'm looking for work. It doesn't actually have to be paid work, but anything I can do to help. My skills lie in.

Uh. Lifting heavy objects, chopping things and... well I'm pretty decent in a fight. So you know. Sparring or training self defense? Anything anyone can think of that they need help with. Please don't hesitate to ask.

No, explain it to me so I can understand enough to not call you a robot. I am being considerate enough to change my mind on the matter if you explain what it is to be an inorganic life form. I am extremely intrigued, so I demand you indulge me.

My species is self-sustaining. We are living, sentient beings who think and feel, similarly in some ways to organic creatures. We are not built by humans or other beings like them. We and forged or created by our own people.

How did such a race begin? [Wait, if they make eachother, and continue like that, at the beginning something had to.. happen, right? With organic life it's different, but if these people are built, someone had to build the first one?]

Well, it's a debate really. Some of us, like myself, believe we were created by a god called Primus.

Others believe we evolved this way.

Evolved? Can inorganic matter evolve?

Well I'm no scientist, but sure. I know Perceptor used to talk about it all the time to me...

Because the ability to evolve is inherently a biological change. It's a property of organic life, there has to be something else that caused you race. Evolution in that example makes absolutely no sense.

So couldn't the same thing happen with different elements? Humans are just basically machines made out of meat. They still even run on electric impulses.

No, it has nothing to do with running on electricity or not. It is simply something organic matter does, and inorganic doesn't. This has nothing to do with single specific elements, even a singular cell organism is more complex than just a single element. There has to be something else that caused your race, or someone just made one of you and that one of you continued to construct more until what happened was lost in your timelines.

Well, like I said. I'm no scientist, but I do know what my species has learned, and there isn't really any evidence of outside forces at work.

This is hardly racist, I'm merely stating facts. I haven't commented on my race's superiority over yours at all. Evolution being a part of organic life is the same thing as having a circulatory system. Your species may have it's own example of a circulatory system, but it is not exactly like ours. Evolution should be considered the same. However you were formed, it most likely is not evolution, but something unknown to my species or any organic matter as a whole. [A humph.]

As in, however your species executes such changing behavior, it is something organic matter cannot do, being organic, just like you cannot undergo evolution because it is organic specific.

Hm. Are you an expert on the matter or something? You know nothing of my species besides what I've told you. Perhaps you shouldn't make such assertions until you've studied my race.

I am very well experienced with organic matter, being someone that's had to study it in order to fashion proper robotic components to them to replace lost organic ones. [Robotics, man, it's his life blood.]

I know nothing about your species, though I'm extremely interested. But inorganic material cannot evolve. There has to be something else which is why to proves to be both perplexing and extremely taxing, especially sine you aren't exactly providing any sufficient help.

What you can build differs greatly from the physical characteristics of myself, I can promise you that.
