Hello, everyone. My name is Flora. I'm really very sorry if this message isn't...well, it's normally supposed to be, I guess. I'm a little out of it. I can't say I've had to make introductions like this before, but it's nice to meet you, nonetheless. :) This is still just a lot to take in, and what's happened to the Earth itself. I still can't believe it. This planet was once so beautiful.

I don't expect much, but there's no harm in asking. If anyone's heard of or met one of the Winx, would you please let me know? I would very much appreciate it.

Fairies are magical beings that come in all shapes and sizes, and while they might have some powers in common, those may vary quite a bit, as well. It's probably fair to say that their greatest distinguishing feature is their wings, which resemble those of butterflies.

I've met a lot of long-lived beings, but not too many truly immortal ones. What kind of immortal are you?

I do. I've met a few, and had to kill one that was corrupted and murderous.

Most of the ones I've met have been less than serious about things that didn't directly concern them. On the other hand, they also treated me well when I showed myself not a threat to them, and when I pass through the part of the forest they live in, I bring them candies and sweet wine, and they give me a safe place to sleep in the forest, so I can't complain about them. Rarely do their interests match those of the larger folk.

I know enough of their language to be polite, but we usually converse in the language of the elves.

Fairies in my home universe are a form of Gnosis, mindless monsters that seemingly exist only to destroy. But considering I've met gods and legends since leaving, I wouldn't be surprised to discover that the more traditional form exists somewhere.

These sprites, though, what are they like?
