Okay, so like... I heard there's superheroes here. Like real, bona fide superheroes. Costumes and everything. And, like, where I come from, you know, we don’t really got superheroes except in stories. So we were thinking it'd be real cool...

[ Collette glances at Jesse, then to the camera. She blurts out something that surely will never ever cause immense embarrassment once she learns the extent of the super heroes she's been around (discounting Barnaby and Kotetsu, who are weird anyway): ]

... If we could meet a few of you in person, and maybe even get an autograph!

( She narrows her eyes a little, looking from Jesse to the camera. Okay, she knows she's missing something by now. )

_{( He shifts his gaze from one of them to the other, and then, not wanting to be cruel, addresses Collette. )}

I'm guessin' your friend's familiar with my more public occupation.

( If she were more the type to excessive dramatics, she'd probably whine. As it is, she rolls her eyes at Jesse. )

Why would I bother playing dumb?

( Which means her attention shifts back to Remy, interest piqued. )

What occupation is that?

Bein' an X-man, I guess. Not sure y'can really call us superheroes at the moment, since half of us ended up in jail an' that might be illegal or treason or somethin'... _{( He trails off, muttering about the technicalities. But, hey, at least it's not his fault their reputation is ruined, this time! )}

[tweaker]

No way, man! Don't let the government get you down! Being illegal don't mean you're wrong.

[whatsupcroc]

( Collette looks surprised, feeling heat start to rise in her face before she starts laughing. )

No way. No way!

( She feels like a massive dork. It's not that she knows X-men all that well, but she knows they exist, and they have like, cartoons and everything. )

I never even guessed! Which is a no duh, I just didn't think... Your life has to have been so totally crazy!

Too true. _{( He nods at Jesse with obvious approval. Good choice of friends, Collette. )}

Prob'ly. But, again, we all ended up here, so crazy becomes kinda relative.

( Her choice in friends may be less stellar in the future, but for now, she agrees. )
