[ So here's Jesse and Collette, grinning stupidly at the camera and looking like they've got a plan up their sleeves. Jesse's the first to speak, rubbing his hands together excitedly: ]

Okay, so like... I heard there's superheroes here. Like real, bona fide superheroes. Costumes and everything. And, like, where I come from, you know, we don’t really got superheroes except in stories. So we were thinking it'd be real cool...

[ Collette glances at Jesse, then to the camera. She blurts out something that surely will never ever cause immense embarrassment once she learns the extent of the super heroes she's been around (discounting Barnaby and Kotetsu, who are weird anyway): ]

... If we could meet a few of you in person, and maybe even get an autograph!

[He senses the stammering and waves his hands.]

[And he flops on to the nearest available surface, kicking his legs.]

You wanted me to sign something?

Yeah! An autograph --

( Oh, okay, so where did they even have that paper? Collette looks to Jesse. )

Where'd we leave the paper? The nice stuff.

Oh! Uhh...

[Jesse hops out of the room for a second and returns with a stack of paper and a pen, which he drops onto the coffee table.]

Here!

[falsehoods]

[Unable to resist another chance to show off, Loki lifts his hand and waves his fingers. Elegant gold lettering appears on the top piece of paper, flashes green, and fades into a signature]

( Collette peers over at the paper, not so much able to stop herself from smiling. Loki... you crazy sad weirdo, you. )

You are such a show off. I like it. This version of it.

( She tacks on hurriedly. Better not make it seem like just anything goes. )

Is it really going to stay there?

( Looking back to Loki with an eyebrow lifted, curious. )

Not fade away or flow off at a whim?

[falsehoods]

[He slouches back, arms folded over his chest.]

It might fly off at my whim...

[This said with a playful note.]

( She laughs. )

And then do what, hmm?

( She's curious to know what he'd whim his signature into doing. A boring disappearing act? Disappointing, but sort of clever in one manner of thinking. )

Well...cause mischief, of course.

There is power in a name, you know.

[whatsupcroc]

There really is!

( Knowledge is often power, though she suspects his might be a different sort of literal. )

Is mischief the power in yours?

[He hooks a thumb at himself.]

God of Mischief, remember?

[whatsupcroc]

Who could forget!

( Still totally picking that paper up in her hands right now to look at his signature. )

Trust me, I don't think I ever could.
