resting atop her head is a strange animal skull, large and grotesque, worn as a crown with her horns sticking out of the eye sockets. long shredded flaps of the flesh drape around her shoulders like a cape. she twirls her trident around her fingers in her hand ]

Kay, that was fun. I was thinkin' this shithole was gonna be borin', even with all that timeline hoppin' or whatebber the fuck you'd call it.

Was gettin' kind of fond of some o' the beasts that were swimmin' around this plaice, but, 'ey, gill's gotta prove who's the balla, right?

[So Sollux wasn't privy to any of this happening, it was more by chance he happened to look out his window. He's on the second floor, and immediately recognizes the two people at odds outside, specifically the grey skin of Meenah first, then Roxy. And admittedly, he doesn't think for too long about why they'd be out there, until he realizes the tyrian troll has her trident out. Yeah, that's never a good thing. He opens his window to yell out to them to cut the shit, but then Meenah starts to run toward Roxy and it's too quick for words to have any effect.

So he kind of leaps out the window. His psionics catch him and land him close, but not close enough to be in any weapon's path (yeah no way is he going to throw himself in front of a trident or wand, guys) and he psionically makes a grab for Meenah's trident. If she's got as tight a grip on it as he hopes, she won't be going anywhere.]

she's suddenly dragged to a stop, blue and red energy surrounding her trident. she tugs, but it doesn't move and neither does she.

she glances to the side to see sollux and snarls ]

[Roxy had been dodging the swipes, actually trying to build up the courage to just shoot the damn bitch. Not that she cares particularly about Meenah, she has it coming, but more-so what the other trolls would think about it and whether they would be really pissed off with her for it.

But then Sollux shows up and stops Meenah, and she's almost tempted to use this chance to blow a hole through the sea-troll. Almost. But she doesn't.]

[She's actually glad that he stopped her, but at the same time a little disappointed.]

[Sollux is beginning to lose his patience. Which really, he has a short span for that, so he was pretty stupid in trying to interfere. But he's also not really smart when it comes to decision making.]
