Among us transports, how many used to be involved in their world's justice system? As police, lawyers, detectives, judges, [ heroes ] and the like. Nobody's required to answer, of course, but I'd like to know. Curiosity, if you will.

[ He goes for text for once because he doesn't feel like broadcasting - it's been two weeks since the VR and if nothing else he still believes in keeping up appearances, the instinct to pick up and carry on for his goal more deeply rooted than almost anything. What goal, he's wondered so much for so long lately, but he found an answer at home and there's no reason to let go of it now. ]

So, it's possible that they brought individuals learned in the law here to fix the justice system of this place? Is that what you're saying?

You're speaking of defense attorneys.

For defense attorneys to be of any use at all, we would first need an actual court, and laws in place to regulate its activities.

As far as I am aware, Exsilium does not even have the basic foundations required for the judicial system to function. We would almost be starting from scratch if we were to implement one.

Can you really be so certain of that?

Exactly. So we might not have as much time as you seem to think we do.

I'm agreeing with you. What I was saying is that we might not have much time left before a tragedy occurs, and we could be left with no system in place to properly address it. Thus we must move quickly.

I was just acknowledging it would be difficult, that's all. That does not mean I would procrastinate such a task.

I would want to ensure that it is run as efficiently as possible. Do you have experience within the judicial system, yourself?

Unfortunate. I could use more people who had. Your name?

Miles Edgeworth.

If this woman you met has blue hair and carries a whip, then we are already well-acquainted. Her name is Franziska von Karma, and she is my mentor's daughter.

Indeed. Yet, we are only two people. It would be useful to have more.
