[video] - 001
[The video feed turns on and the picture if filled with the face of a woman with alabaster white skin and dark brows and eyes. One eye quirks upward and her lips tug into an annoyed frown.]
Crowley, what is this, some kind of joke? Threaten me, capture me, and then throw me in the middle of some futuristic looking game with a netbook and a weapon? If Schwarzenegger shows up, I swear I'm going to take this knife and gut him.
And this little home make-over you did of hell while I was gone is not at all what I expected. I thought you had class.
[Meg waits for that smarmy demon’s response but hears none, which just puzzles her more. Now she’s getting a bit nervous. Was this his intention? Throw her off her game?]
Fine. You know what? Screw you. I know you won't be able to resist showing your face sooner or later. You're too much of an egotistical bastard not to.

voice;
I call him all sorts of colorful things depending on the day of the week.
voice;
I'm afraid I have not seen, nor heard, anyone by that name. Not here.
voice;
I could do without him breathing down my neck for awhile.
He's not the kind of character you want slithering over your doorstep.
[But neither is Meg.]
voice;
I would certainly like the same experience—unfortunately for me, those I know from home are here.
—and why is that?
voice;
Don't get me wrong, I have at least two other problems to deal with here, but at least Crowley isn't one of them.
Because Crowley is a backstabbing con-man who thinks he can sit on a throne that doesn't belong to him. The worst kind of opportunist. Sure, I'm a bad girl, but at least I have some degree of loyalty.
voice;
I see. This throne was stolen, by him?
voice;
voice;
Though what would you do, were he present?
voice;
[She doesn't think it cowardly to hide. Only stupid people go running into a fight they can't win. Meg's been waiting for her moment.]
Who am I spilling all this too, anyway?
[Not that she thinks she's given away anything significant. Meg knows you have to give a little before you can get a little. She isn't mindlessly chattering away, she's feeling this guy out.]
voice;
( Not even a beat, with that one. Were he anyone else, he would apologize for the sheer amount of questions. But he's not. )
Hiding? Do you find pride in that fact?
voice;
[Were she anyone else, she might sound more impressed. But so far she's only acquainted with his voice and a name.]
Pride?
[She laughs.]
Pride has nothing to do with it. Crowley's wasted plenty of other demons. He has the mindless peons of hell behind him. Me vs an army? I'm pretty sure a god can do the math.
voice;
( h-heh welp.
Then, after a second, he's listening again. )
—ah. An understandable choice, then. You arrived here at an opportune time?
voice;
[There's a smirk in her voice and the feed switches to video on her end.]
Now that we know each other, why don't you show me your face? A god has to be half decent looking.

It would seem that their technology has fortuitous timing.
no subject
Well, aren't you pretty.
[She smiles, amused by her own remarks, even if he isn't.]
Considering I was about to be dragged to Crowley and probably see my insides on my outsides, yeah the timing was pretty damn peachy.
no subject
I could say the same for myself. One must wonder if perhaps that is their intention, in some way.

I gotta admit, I've wondered about this world and its choices. Sure, dragging the Winchester's here sort of makes sense; they're a couple of cowboys who wanna save the world.
I just look out for myself. Why would I be here? What's in it for me?
no subject
—I have often wondered the same. Though I do not have many questions; there's a path, I know, for all places. This realm is no different.
Perhaps you were not meant to do the duty they've assigned, but something more?
no subject
You make it sound like I've got some kind of epic destiny. If there's a super secret agenda, I'll check the mail for my official decoder ring.
In the meantime, I don't give a damn about their assignments, so long as I keep my head, but I've already got a few enemies here that would like me to lose it.
no subject
Enemies already?
Not from this place, I hope.
no subject
People from my world who were here already. Go figure.
no subject
Much the same as myself.
How many? Just one? Two, even?
no subject
[But she'll find out there's more.]
And one is an angel, which really doesn't mean good things for me.
Are your enemies other gods? I understand you deities don't always play nice with each other.
no subject
( What is that. What are all of these things, even? Then, he chuckles a bit. )
—they are.
no subject
They're not a lot of fun to tango with. In fact, one holy handshake can send me right to oblivion. Not my idea of a good time.
[She smiles.]
I'll bet your enemies are watching you like a hawk. Sounds like you could use a few friends.
