jhb786hr Information is required. Machine that hauled us here, these missions, these weapons, or anything of relevance.
Insentient weapons; where can they be found.
How many have been brought here, how many none civilians.

[ooc: the numbers are a written unseparated representation of tap code. Normally they would be written like so - (1,4)(4,3)(4,2)(1,5)(3,5)(3,4)(4,2)(4,4). They read 'dsreport'.]

[The more insistent the other man is at keeping his secret, the greater his suspicion. He can respect secrets; all hunters have them, and he's worse than most hunters put together. But this isn't a hunter, he can't even know if he's human.]

[ Which, speaking of— he leans to wave and snag the tender's attention, ordering himself something mild once he has it. It won't work anyway, so there's no use in going for something heavily alcoholic. Once he's done, he glances back to John again. ]
So, do you suppose I'll be getting your name at any point? Or would you prefer to keep this clandestine and mysterious?
I'm sorry notif somehow ended up in my spam folder orz
[John is a popular name where he's from, but he has no way of knowing how wide spread it is here. Dean would call him dad so there's no risk of exposure from him but his little pet...well he'll cross that bridge when he gets to it. He has no id card, fake or otherwise, so to keep it simple he decides to use his own name, just not the first one.]
Eric. How 'bout you?
it's because vanadi is so spammy what the hell i can't even subjecttype
[ Oh look, they're getting somewhere! He's so pleased. He shoots off a wide smile, then tries a sip of his drink. ]
Vanadi of House Vadarta, if you like, but I suppose that hardly matters here.
subjecttyping is hard and it'd because gmail sucks
The hell kinda name is that?
[Vanadi of House Vadarta? Sounds like someone who walked out of those terrible old English plays his high school teachers inflicted on him.
Stupid name, stupid mask...he's getting the feeling this guy won't give him anything useful.]

And what're you.

[ There's another smile as he returns his gaze to John. People don't usually react with anything to curiosity to his species, after all! ]
Which I would have expected you to extrapolate from "Kitrian name", but, ah, I suppose you haven't heard of us either. I've yet to meet anyone familiar with us.

[Preferably with weaknesses, but he can't expect the target to do all his work for him.]

Well, there are the teeth, of course— [ He flashes an especially wide smile, to show off the way his teeth are pointed. —And, as you'd see if I'd left my mask at home, we've significantly longer ears. And we tend to be a bit less solidly built than humans. [ he means humans are f a t ]

There's one thing these features remind him of; Why the long ears, why the sharp teeth - the better to eat you.]
Freaky features come with any perks?

That so? How good we talking here, can you hear outside of this bar?

[If he immediately starts questioning, he might lost valuable information. It's always better to let the informant start the conversation.]
