Ooh, I think I got it to work!  The little light's blinking. That's like the universal sign for 'working', isn't it? [ the young girl, clad in a quite.. quirky outfit peers at the camera on the device quizzically. ] That means I'm being recorded, right? Well, a magician has to keep up appearances, so! Hello, Citizens of Exsilium! My name's Trucy Wright, Ace Magician! Maybe you've heard of me! Or maybe you've heard of daddy, that usually seems to be the case. [ she bounces on her heels a bit. ] I don't really know what's going on, but while I'm stuck here, let's have some fun, okay?

Let's start with an icebreaker! [ Trucy holds up a deck of redbacked playing cards. She then spreads all 52 out in her hand. ] Pick a card, any card!

That's exciting! I guess I should get a patent on this trick now, huh?

[She points to a card off to the left side of the fan.]

[ a nod, as she closes the fan and shuffles the deck. When she spreads it, the slot where the card once was is empty. ]

Alright! Why don't you take a look in your pocket?

[ There, she'll find the Queen of Diamonds; the card she'd picked. With this deck she'd been given by the Initiative, she could transport them wherever. Not that that was a very useful ability at the moment. At least it was good for tricks! ]

Sorry, I can't tell! [ That would be breaking the magician's creed, after all. ] To be honest, though, I'm not completely sure either! Those fishy guys that brought us here gave me this deck. I'm just glad it hasn't blown up or something yet!

As weapons go, young lady, I admit it does not look so very dangerous. But perhaps it has some secrets, hm?
