[There's a pair of big brown eyes - and just that - peering very, very closely into the camera. They blink a few times before their owner backs away slightly, just enough so that the rest of her face can be seen. Aw, it's a cute little girl! She's wearing an elaborate golden crown that appears to be just a touch too big for her head, as shown when it slips down over her forehead. Scowling, she pushes it back up to its rightful place atop her head, and glares daggers at the camera. Her mouth is pressed into a hard, thin line; her eyes are narrowed. It's a strange expression for such a young face.]

You have an awful lot of nerve, dragging me into all of this. This isn't my country. This isn't even my world, apparently, and I'm not sure I even believe all that nonsense. Why should I care? What does it matter to me whether you win or lose?

I'm just a little girl, you know. How much help am I going to be, hmm? And I am a queen, on top of that: queen of a nation with its own war to worry about. Perhaps if you'd asked nicely, I might have sent reinforcements, once things had been settled. Except I can't, now that you've gone and kidnapped me.

And what if I die? What then? Falena would never, ever, ever forgive the death of its queen - you'll just end up with another war on your hands. This Initiative of yours isn't very smart, is it?

[There's a pause, and a pained expression crosses her face for a brief moment. Her voice is suddenly as small as she is.] They could have at least brought Frey here, too. He would know what to do.

So I went from one incompetent group of people to another. [Just gonna. Roll her eyes. She has the worst luck with these things, gosh.] That's just great.

Like we never left...? So no one will notice that I'm gone?

[AND THEN BACK TO A NEUTRAL EXPRESSION]

I believe so. I have not experienced this theory firsthand, mind you, but there are those from future points in time in the world I come from who have made no mention of my disappearance which would surely have been of notice.

[The stuff about different points in time kind of goes over her head, but Lym gets the idea. She looks a little disappointed, though. Her last attempt at running away had gone badly; she had hoped that this might serve as another act of rebellion, however selfish it was.]

So no one's rioting in the streets because their beloved queen is missing. [and then she grins] That's too bad, though. I would've liked to stir up some trouble at the palace.

With a war going on, I am surprised you would wish there to be trouble in your own palace.

I could've ended the war. [The crown slips down again, and she finally just tears the thing off and sets it aside.] But I was betrayed, and now I can't do anything. A little chaos would serve them right.

[oh that hits home in more ways than one.]

There is always something that can be done, even if your current fate has your hands tied behind your back and unable to physically do something. [woops speaking from experience] What you truly want is an opportunity, not something that is truly without plan, and that may require a bit of lying in wait.

I don't think I'll ever have another opportunity like that again... [she pouts] And I hate waiting.

[selfloyalty]

[uguu she's vaguely reminded of herself when she was a kid at that pout.]

You are young. You will grow to realize that waiting is a large factor when it comes to politics.

[and because she wants to...help reassure her.]

And I am certain you will have another opportunity. They always seem to pop up when you least expect it.

No one else likes waiting, though. That's how this whole mess got started in the first place! No one wanted to wait for me to get married, so they rushed that along, too. [and then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked I MEAN]

[huff] I hope so. Even if I can't do anything, Frey will. Frey always fixes everything.

[she frowns]

They always do.

Might I ask as to who Frey is?

[she's assuming he'd like, her regent or something.]

He's my big brother. [She smiles sadly, because Frey is the best person ever and she misses him.] And the leader of the resistance. He's been doing really well! ...Except for that last battle, but that wasn't his fault.

Of course it was not. And it never hurts to have help, especially in the form of family.

He sounds like the sort of person the Initiative would want to bring in if he is a leader of a resistance where you are from. Perhaps he will show up.

[Anora, take a seat and let me tell you about the Queendom of Falena, where women inherit the throne and boys are totally lame and powerless. Unless they're dicks like her husband, that is. It's basically the greatest place ever.]

They would be stupid not to bring him here. [pause] So they probably won't.
