Residence, pay, weapons... 'Tis truly a most perplexing abduction, indeed. Am I to be prodded like some errant pet? Experimented upon, perhaps? Or merely observed? Seems a most foolish squandering of resources, if so.

Yet, here I note mentions of conscription and battle. An irony, truly - though, better than the forced imbibing darkspawn essence... And considerably more agreeable with one's palate, no doubt.

So, tell me... How long am I to be expected to roam? Or must my first order of business be one of rebellion?

[This is where it switches from audio to video and the appearance of a displeased Morrigan, complete with staff on back, for those who know a little about mages from Thedas. The yellow eyes might be a little odd, even for those who do, of course.]

Your assumptions are... very inaccurate. What are these Darkspawn?

In all truth, none seem to know their origins for certain. Only that they are as aggressive as they are loathsome to behold. Perversions of flesh and bone, ever searching for the old gods, compelled to infect with corruption that which they cannot destroy. Every few years, they erupt from the surface and embark upon one of their delightful crusades of conquest, led by an Archdemon for reasons as yet not fully explained.

I find it intriguing that so many here do not hail from my world... Not because I find it impossible, but because this seems more the rule than an exception to it.

[ That's more like it. The angel nods, understanding the basic concept of wrongness of their form and pure evil only pagan gods and powers ancient, outmatched only by the capacity of humans to do so much more. Dean said it right with the ever vague Humans, man... humans.

Still, monsters are kind of old hat for him, even these... Darkspawn. ]

There are remarkably few in my world who are aware of similar evil where I come from.

What is your role in this? This... war against your Darkspawn that you mentioned?

[Morrigan speaking with an angel... This is the least likely thing in all of reality, ever. If Alistair catches notice of this, she'll never hear the end of it. Or, well... Anyone else, really.]

I assisted in their most recent defeat. Namely, by helping to slay their Archdemon and...

[ To Morrigan's credit, Castiel is one of the more unassuming angels. Alien in manner, at times... but for the most part? Completely normal looking.

Although knowing that she help in the defeat of a leader of this... Darkspawn, there is some part of him that is impressed. But also curious. Morrigan seems to him to be something of a hunter, like Dean. ]

[Stoic, mysterious Morrigan is stoic and mysterious!]

I serve in protection of a child. An innocent. More than that, I do not care to reveal.

...But I find your secrecy curious. Why hide such an act many find to be a noble one? Do you fear for the safety of this child?

In a word, yes. The boy has value. Not financial, but that of a destiny. A destiny he knows nothing of - and I mean to keep it that way.

Things are already heading towards change in my world... And he will be the key to something far greater.

And this destined boy -- is he also a transport?

[Because there would be some sort of hellish, transdimensional portal already summoned up to escape with, no doubt, if that were not so.)
