{Video; 1st Story}

[It takes Estelle a little tinkering to get used to the idea of the tablet. But she thinks she sort of gets the idea, managing to open up a video feed.]

Oh! There, it seems like it's working now. [It's almost like seeing Rita working with her blastia research a little....

[She pulls back a little from peering closely at the tablet, smiling almost triumphantly at having figured it out for the most part and giving a small wave.]

Hello everyone! I guess I'm one of the newer arrivals and my name is Estellise. Oh, but you can just call me 'Estelle'. I might not be quite as aware on the situation as others who have been here longer, but I'll help as best I can. War is a terrible thing and I'd like to do my best to prevent it escalating if possible. I've done some fighting back home and I wouldn't like for things to get too out of hand, with children or civilians getting hurt and caught up in this.

[She's worried there, obviously upset at the situation from what she has gathered. It's not quite as dangerous as back home with the threat of the Adephagos, but even so, this is still serious and it seems like they are bringing in a lot of people to help out the Initiative.]

Though I guess all of this might take a bit of....getting used to. This is quite different from Zaphias back home. I can heal, so if there is some sort of clinic or something I'd like to offer my help if I can.

Oh! I'm not sure if there are any books here but I'd still like to hear some stories! I think this is a wonderful chance to learn so much with people from such different places! I've never heard of 'Earth' before I came here so I'd love to hear more about it.

I wanted to also thank everyone that helped me when I first got here too. I think I'm getting used to things here now.

And....I'm sorry if Yuri caused anyone any trouble. It's...not necessarily his fault but trouble sort of seems to follow him sometimes.

[A light, almost sheepish smile. She knows what Yuri can be like at times and even unintentionally how often he ends up in the middle of things.]

In that case, I probably could share one of my favorites, about a group of friends who ended up saving their entire country...

[aka the fictionalized version of something she was actually present for. She likes the idea of talking about them though, four knights on a quest, more or less.]

[Angel smiles before she takes a deep breath to begin.]

There once was a wonderful treasure in a country, that could be found by anyone willing to brave the dangers they would face on the path to it. The reward was great, but the danger was too much for many, who over time dismissed the treasure as nothing but a legend.

But there was a scholar who developed an interest in it, and she worked day and night until she had gathered enough proof that this legend might be none at all. The work took a heavy toll on her, and she sent out a message calling for those who might do what she could not. Now, four adventurers decided they would answer this call, four who met by the best of luck and circumstance. They consisted of a brave knight, a just hunter, a wandering mage, and a kind-hearted fighter, all who bonded from the thought of why not go together?

These four travelled deep into the desert, where they met a fairy woman who told them that the treasure was no myth at all, but as real as themselves. She could not stay by their side, but she would look out for them on their way. The world was harsh, and its people harsher, but the adventurers managed to find part of the key to the treasure in the keeping of a cruel lord they crushed for his misdeeds. Finding the very scholar who called them to the country in the first place, they were urged to find the other pieces, which they achieved through many trials.

But! The tyrant of this land had also seen an interest in this treasure, and sent their army after it, which did not bode well for our heroes. In fact, they found the scholar and the key, and dragged both away. While the scholar was rescued by the adventurers, the key they had risked their lives so much for was still in the army's hands. The fairy appeared again, explaining that should the army unlock the treasure, the country would fall into destruction, and there was no time to waste. Heeding her words, the heroes pursued the army through caves and up a great mountain, where the army's leader prepared to unlock the treasure.

Yet, she was not destined to see it, for the "treasure" the legend had spoken of turned out to be a great and terrible dragon, who devoured the army leader in one bite. This creature's awakening had been the true meaning of the fairy's words-the dragon was evil as anything, and would cover the country in fire and death if left unchecked. Having grown strong and wise along their journey, the heroes worked together to slay this monster, and so saved the country from disaster.

[There. Adapted as if it was a story from Bunkers and Badasses. She's proud of herself.]

I'm glad you enjoyed it, honestly.

[She could have added more, of course there's more, but this much is what's safe to tell.]

There are more, but not all of them end as happily. Some people want to fight a dragon before they're ready to do so.

Isn't what matters is that in the end it was defeated?

Never again. Now everyone can sleep easier.
