Before I go making any snow angels, I could use some outdoor clothes. Just a good coat and pants, since I think I can make up for the rest.

I don't have anything to trade except for my services. I can handle hard labor, your basic mechanics — I'm talking turn-of-the-24th century civilian tech — and I'm a decent shot. If those won't work for you, shoot me an offer and we can talk it out. I'd appreciate it.

What sort of weapon did you pick out? Something useful, I hope.

I've got a gun, but it won't do much good for hunting at a decent range. Especially in the weather down there.
