Probably don't even need to ask if anybody's found a way home yet, otherwise none of us would even be here in the first place. I get it, we're all stuck here together and nobody even asked for this.

But I was just-- [ There's a long pause where he gathers himself up, a waver to his voice. ] I was just in the hospital and now i'm here, and I was just wondering if anyone had seen my brother. Nathan Petrelli? If this is the future and I'm here somehow, then maybe he is too.

Kind of a long shot, I know, but I had to ask. I just need to know if he's okay.

[ After another second, Peter exhales. ] Only have one more question -- do we really have to fight?

It's been my experience that what most people say they want from you isn't the truth. [A pause.] They might want more from us than for us to be what they're saying.
