[ Feferi is just so excited to be on camera today, just so excited. Anyone who's been there might recognize the background as DITR's makeshift office. She needed somewhere to prop her tablet up, as both her hands are holding a binder, face down at the moment. ]
While everyone is talking about laws and councils and punishments and all that, I have been thinking about something else: we don't have any really good way of sharing information we find on missions! There is the network, yes, but who wants to go back through every single network post to find out what happened? Plus, if someone withholds information, it's really hard to blame them, since there's no good way to share it.
So the idea I had was this!
[ She holds up the binder. In glittery sparkle pen, the cover reads MISSION LOG and she flips it open to show off the inside. ]
A mission log book! This is just one way to do it, I'm not good with computers or anything so this was easier for me, but the idea is that when you leave for a mission, you fill out the top part, right? And then when you get back, you fill out the bottom, and then you sign it! Not that hard, right? For missions with lots of people, you could either have one person fill it out, or everyone adds their own information, and then everyone signs it.
[ She holds the current page up a little closer to the camera to show off the meticulously-written and lined form she made up. ]
By doing this, everyone can go see what you did and what you found out, whenever they want! And then if anyone ever says you didn't share information, you have the book to go back to. And if you don't fill it out, and we find out you held back something important, then we have proof!
Now I know what you are going to say. But Feferi, I'm going on a personal mission, I would like some privacy please! I already thought of that, though. As long as you are not doing something sneaky or underhanded, you don't have to put any personal details. Just that you left, came back, and didn't bring back anything that the community should know about. That's it!
This is just for things that everyone should know, like when you find mutant clones, or try to stop global warming.
[ Finally, she puts down the binder. ]
So that's my idea, but I want to see what people think, or if there's a better idea out there, because this is the best one I could come up with!

Alter it to w)(at?
It would be pretty noticeable if someone came and scribbled a bunc)( of stuff out.
And if t)(ey added somet)(ing, everyone else would be able to back up t)(at it was a lie.
Plus someone would always be around, so you couldn't just come in and update it out of t)(e blue!
Eit)(er way, it is not meant to stop people from lying.
T)(ey will do t)(at no matter w)(at!
But we WILL )(ave proof t)(at t)(ey lied.
T)(en we can actually do somet)(ing about it!
text
i dunno people could alter the number of supplies they bring back
last thing we need is someone keeping a stash of food under their bed
while the rest of us go hungry from crap food in the cafeteria
but i guess thats true
if someone's always gonna be around
text
It looks like my sign. 38)
And actually, t)(ere is already a supply list, and it is not meant to replace t)(at!
If you were just going on a supply run, t)(at is all you would )(ave to say.
You wouldn't )(ave to list everyt)(ing out.
One we get back to -Eart)( we won't even really N-E-ED supply runs anyway.
You could also just say not)(ing at all, if it is somet)(ing boring like t)(at!
It is not like t)(is is a new rule, or going to be enforced.
It's mostly so t)(at we can s)(are information and )(ave better ways to )(old people accountable w)(en t)(ey don't.
T)(ings like important information about t)(e U-E, or some big t)(ing you tried to do in )(istory t)(at could c)(ange t)(e world!
Not if you broug)(t back 20 boxes of snack cakes all for yourself.
text
that's what i mean though
what if i just go on a mission and bring back a hundred cakes
and on the log i make up something important about the UE or whatever
not saying that that's what i'd do
but just what if
[ no he's just being difficult. ]
i guess this beats going through the network for info all the time
text
I mean if you really want to lie, you are going to )(ave to keep lying.
It seems like if you are t)(at devoted to it, t)(en you would just do it anyway, book or not!
Everyone )(as to use t)(eir best judgment wit)( information people bring back.
T)(at won't stop being a t)(ing if we start collecting it all in one place!
text
but i get it
like i said it beats having to look everywhere on the network
and it's better than us being kept in the dark all the time
text
Maybe someone can take t)(is idea and make it B-ETT-ER, too.
It is a start for now, t)(oug)(.
