[ As soon as the transporter is back up, Feferi comes back from her mission and after getting caught up on things, is not very happy. She's been given the run down, she's skimmed all the posts and comments. Even her fins are all puffed out, it's that serious. Even though most of the known mutineers have been captured now, she still feels the need to say her own piece.

Sollux is somewhere in the background making faces and being generally disgruntled. ]

So, the next time anyone wants to try and take over, maybe they should stop and think it through a little more! Maybe don't strand people on missions, or try to think about those of us do not have anywhere to go back to except being dead, or worse! Try to think about everyone else's worlds that need protecting!

If you really want change, you should try helping us! The Department of Initiative-Transport Relations exists for a reason, and when we opened, I asked everyone for their thoughts, and barely got any. Why didn't you come to us?

[ So this is nothing that hasn't been said before, but... hey, she was stranded and she's mad. ]

I really hope you're happy now, because we are right back where we started! And I am going to go right back to what I was doing, except now we have even more work to do and I do not even know who I can trust to not want to ruin the one good thing some people have here.

[ She looks like she wants to say something witty or cutting to end her commentary, but she comes up with nothing and ends the feed with a little huff, before hitting the off button. ]

Uh, I didn't know that the DITR existed.

And like it or not, we've basically been drafted. I can understand wanting help, but I don't think pulling people at random into your galaxy really helps anything.

[Luke sounds a bit frustrated.]

And the mutineers had a point - we need to have more of a say in how we run the war and what we're doing and how we're doing things.

[ You can almost hear her making a funny face. ]

How did you not know? I know I talked to you at the open house we had!

And did anyone actually ask for a say? We have had all of the say in what to do since we got to the moon, even! If you don't speak up, how can you expect anyone to hear you? It didn't need to come to that, nobody needed to kidnap anyone, or hurt anyone!

[Honestly, that totally slipped Luke's mind. There's a pause on the other end and then he sounds a bit guilty.]

I, uh, forgot about that. Sorry.

[Oops.]

I don't think they intended to hurt anyone.

[Read: he knows, but he's not going to admit that.]

And I still think they had a point. A lot of us didn't ask for this.

Maybe they didn't, but they still could have.

[ Despite everything else, she's more concerned than judgmental. ]

It's okay to not like it here, I understand! A lot of people want to go home. That's okay too. But we're all here now, and nobody asked to come here, but nobody asked the UE to attack universes that aren't theirs. And I just don't think fighting each other is going to help any of that.

I guess I have more of a choice then most people - really, the UE wouldn't be a threat to us back home. They've got one planet - we have a whole galaxy and fleets of starships.

[Although seeing the Empire and the UE fight might be interesting.]

I don't think fighting each other helps, but I definitely think that if and when we get back planetside, we need to make sure the Initiative knows that we expect to be listened to.

They always have known, though. That's why we set up the department, because people either were too scared to or didn't know how to tell the Inititive what they really wanted or what their ideas were.

[ At least she doesn't sound mad any more. More conciliatory than anything. She pauses then adds: ]

Well, what they wanted besides going home. And if the Initiative won't listen, then we will listen, and we will find a way to make them hear us without having to go quite so far.
