018 ♓ video

[ As soon as the transporter is back up, Feferi comes back from her mission and after getting caught up on things, is not very happy. She's been given the run down, she's skimmed all the posts and comments. Even her fins are all puffed out, it's that serious. Even though most of the known mutineers have been captured now, she still feels the need to say her own piece.

Sollux is somewhere in the background making faces and being generally disgruntled. ]

So, the next time anyone wants to try and take over, maybe they should stop and think it through a little more! Maybe don't strand people on missions, or try to think about those of us do not have anywhere to go back to except being dead, or worse! Try to think about everyone else's worlds that need protecting!

If you really want change, you should try helping us! The Department of Initiative-Transport Relations exists for a reason, and when we opened, I asked everyone for their thoughts, and barely got any. Why didn't you come to us?

[ So this is nothing that hasn't been said before, but... hey, she was stranded and she's mad. ]

I really hope you're happy now, because we are right back where we started! And I am going to go right back to what I was doing, except now we have even more work to do and I do not even know who I can trust to not want to ruin the one good thing some people have here.

[ She looks like she wants to say something witty or cutting to end her commentary, but she comes up with nothing and ends the feed with a little huff, before hitting the off button. ]

It's easy for you to get indignant, but some of us have homes and lives we want to get back to. Even if the Mutineers did it the wrong way, they just want to get things on an even footing.

All this outrage is stupid and the Initiative is stupid and this place is stupid.

Yeah? I never asked to be here! I didn't sign up for their stupid war or to save the world, I already helped save my own once!

Why should I risk my neck for people who kidnapped me?
originalgaangster: (seriously you guys no really what)

I'm willing to take my chances with what we've got back home.

Maybe they should have asked for volunteers instead of just grabbing me out my life. How is it fair to pull me away from my family? How is it fair to take me away from the work I have to do at home to help my people rebuild?

And maybe they shouldn't be so bad at this. I mean, the whole time I've been here it's been nothing but the Initiative getting kicked around and us suffering for it. We're on the moon now because the Initiative can't even fight off the UE.

Why am I supposed to believe they can save my world if they can't even save their own, huh? Maybe you should stop drinking the cactus juice and take a look at how things are going before defending them.

I'm not missing anything? Let me just explain why I'm suddenly a year older when I get home. Or two years. Or three. Or ten. How long are they going to keep us here? This war might not be over until we're all long gone and I'm not going to get myself killed for them. War sucks and I'm freaking tired of it.

If they can't save my world, why am I even here? They need my help, but I'm just a guy. I can make plans, sure. I'm smart. I have a sword, that's it. Why me? Why my help? They don't want me, they want more of those super powered jerks.

I'm sorry about your world. And being dead. And stuff. Of course I'd want to live. So they've given you a shot, that's great of them. But that doesn't change the way I feel about this whole thing.

How are they planning on keeping me seventeen forever?

Yeah, and what if I don't want to be on this team?

coop up enough individuals in one space and place them under enough stress and that sort of thing is bound to happen sooner or later regardless of what is done

particularly with events behind them such as what apparently brought us here

it finds an outlet one way or another

[...give him a second he's figuring out that H. Typing is a new skill okay.]

the only other ' space rock ' i have ever personally set foot on was decidedly miserable , there may indeed be a pattern there

from what i understand there was at least some amount of preparation for this, did they send no one to take charge ? a disorganized force is a very poor one

Is there anything that can be done to negotiate with the Initiative, or are we worse off?
biwinning: (Resentments are the rocket fuel.)

and now that i can read the post since it's so tiny on my phone

There'th going to be no convincing them. They're all stupid, shellfish whiny wigglers. Every thingle one of them.

The mutineers were brought into custody, at least.

But now they'll probably be reluctant to give us information unless the argument's presented very carefully.
biwinning: (Can’t handle it. Unplug this bastard.)

They won't. They all have this extremely awful disease that affects the brain and makes them all really stupid all the time. It's called having The Dumb. It's fatal.

That's probably for the best.

Maybe we need a reminder of our common ground?
