It sounds like you have a better idea of this stuff. I'm kind of shooting in the dark, but if you think it's doable, I think it's something we've gotta get set up.

Maybe start off with something where you don't actually have to experiment on people for, like... motion detectors, maybe? Is that a thing you know how to do?

Okay, yeah, motion detectors. Awesome. I know we haven't got much in the way of supplies here, but if you could get your hands on the stuff you need, what range would you be able to get on them?

It'd depend on how much power we can expend, especially considering this, and how we'd want to use it in here considering a lot of us like to move. And who would be tracking it. Would it be tracking the motion, setting off alarms, or what? We'd have to configure all of that.

We've got emergency generators for the Clinic already. It shouldn't be too big of a stretch to get a couple more going for security. [...However, this comes to technical stuff he's not entirely sure what to do with.]

I was thinking more motion sensors for whatever's out there than what's in here. There are people who do upkeep out there, so no alarms or anything, but having someone keep an eye on things would be good.

You mean in the event that the UE finally figures out where we went.

We could definitely do something with that. We could even make it remote controlled so it can go off when they're doing visual checks, but I'd wanna make sure that the people tracking everything are legit.

It's been mainly me, Billy and Sokka who've been dealing with the emergency generators, so once you got this figured out, talk to one of us about supplies.

No problem, though I'm gonna wonder why only three people are hooking up the generators here. Though I guess too many hands on a project can lead to some bad things. [Or whatever that saying is.]

Emergency generators, not the big ones. These are for the clinic in case our power got cut. [A beat.]

I kind of think in terms of "we're on the moon so the worst is probably going to happen," I guess.

I don't know. That depends on your definition of 'worst'.

The base is attacked and we don't have anywhere to escape to, essentially. I'd call that a worst case. That can come in many different shapes and sizes, too.

See, my worst case scenario is that they bomb us and everyone dies. [He gives the screen a tight lipped smile, but there's not much humour in it. This is not the most reassuring thing in the world to say to a new guy, but hell, it is what it is.] All the way out here, we'd be pretty hard to attack any other way.

Yeah, that's a worst case scenario. I mean, if they can go into other worlds, they can definitely bomb the hell out of us.

Yeah. They haven't really got a reason for invading right now. Not saying it's not something we should prepare for, 'cause obviously they're nooot really operating on the same level that we are.

And bombing us would probably mess up their tides?

It ... might, but then, they might be able to handle it in a way of taking care of us, getting in real close, taking care of us, and yeah. But that's why we need motion sensors.

But somehow I doubt they're worried about their tides. I mean, do they still have tides down there? They're probably messed up as it is.

Why wouldn't they have tides? Though I guess it wouldn't really matter that much.
