We should stay here.

I know that may be an unacceptable proposition to some of you, especially after the most recent difficulties with opening the agricultural wing.

But from the perspective of safety and advantage, this is better.

Even at its widest point, the English Channel is only 240 kilometers.

And how will that change if we return to Earth and reposition ourselves in their backyard again?

There will be no restful nights knowing that they could bomb us again.

that's what we're aiming to prevent. there's no guarantee they won't simply follow us here, i'm sure they haven't forgotten about us

No, I'm sure they already know we're here.

But launching an attack on a relatively small target stationed on the Moon is a much different operation than simply firing a few missiles.

I don't believe we'll be successful in preventing the invention of such a large class of military weapons through time travel.
