We should not return to Earth.

We should stay here.

I know that may be an unacceptable proposition to some of you, especially after the most recent difficulties with opening the agricultural wing.

But from the perspective of safety and advantage, this is better.

Even at its widest point, the English Channel is only 240 kilometers.

That is a legitimate disadvantage of this place.

However, considering what got us here to begin with, I don't believe we'd stand a chance anywhere if they decided to bomb us again.

If we are screwed I'd still rather earth atmosphere over no atmosphere. Bomb shelters would also work better on earth.

I don't mean to be morbid, but if we're screwed, then maybe a swifter death is preferable.

Then I'd rather be somewhere we don't have to worry about suffocating if we don't die immediately...

I think everyone would. The problem is finding someplace on Earth where we can actually live, that will be safe...
