[ it has been a while since morgana has appeared on the network and when she does, she does so suddenly. the feed clicks on to reveal her as she steps back from the tablet, there is more of a coldness to her face, edges gained only by time. pale skin is stained with blossoms of red, scraps and cut still unattended (she had a bloody cave dropped on her head not too long ago, thanks merlin), fain traces of dust collected in her hair. ]

And I thought my loathing for this place could grow no more.

[ as striking as morgana herself the large white form behind her begs more attention. the creature croons softly, head lowering and wings folding in tight. ]

Her name is Aithusa. [ even morgana's tone is colder now. there is a pain to it, joy and pain. aithusa her dear ally and friend, brought here to this dreadful rock with no sky to stretch her wings and fly. yet part of her is happy to have the dragon here, at her side. ] And she is under my protection. [ aithusa's head raises and the dragon pads forward a single step. morgana exhales, her hands balled into fists that none can see. they shake. ] She is not to be harmed. This is the first and only warning any of you will receive.

Heed my words or you shall regret it, unimaginable suffering will follow if you do not. [ it is a threat, plain and simple. lacking in subtlety, but she could care less, she will have herself understood now and understood plainly.

and just as quickly as morgana and aithusa appeared, the feed cuts. ]

[ A challenge. She certainly knows how to play him. ]

If not maps, my company must have something to do about it.

[scinlae]

[ Morgana hums thoughtfully, tilting her head and bringing her wine to her lips. ]

Perhaps it does.

[cesar]

But company that does not require conversation?

[scinlae]

I would have you speak, though I sincerely hope you are only capable of performing one action at a time.

[cesar]

[ He chuckles. ]

And why is that?

Because I will not be satisfied with speech alone.

[ Well, aren't we forward? Cesare is many things but not obtuse. He moves to set his glass back on the table then, before moving over to sit beside her. ]

Must I sing and dance for you too?

SOBS BROKENLY

[ Morgana's own glass remains where it is, pressed lightly against her lips as he moves to sit beside her. she pays it barely any attention however, sipping the wine only absently. ]

Sing, dance, and much much more.

[ He hardly tries to hide how his eyes linger on her lips before trailing back to her eyes. What use is there in being subtle? ]

Ah, what an evening this will be.

[scinlae]

[ she dares him, teases, pluck strings curiously. he has interested her since the day they met, a man whose face she did not forget - almost a puzzle she wanted to solve. this little game is nothing new to her, she has promised herself to two men before with hardly any intention on allowing them to collect. neither of them are in Morgana's thoughts anymore, they fulfilled their roles well and no longer are of use. but Cesare is a different man altogether, a sharper mind and stronger will, a man capable of getting whatever he wants when he puts his mind to it.

Morgana hums sipping her wine, amusement from the lack of subtly difficult to hide. it shines in her eyes and spills out from the corners of her mouth. he will have to take the glass from her if he wants her lips. ]

Quite an evening indeed.
