[Kido is trying not to be agitated since a good leader shouldn't be but hey she's tired, things have sucked, the reports from the rescue mission really suck and yeah. So she finds some solace in her old role.

She taps her fingers against her leg, hair damp from one of those lovely short showers with a towel around her neck.]

Hey everyone. I've been thinking it'd be easier to figure out things if we were all together. You know, like a real meeting. What if we just pick a day and grab one of the VR rooms and try to figure this out. Everyone's been getting together the information they got from the rescue mission- [She frowns slightly. None of it sounded good.] -so we've got a better idea of what we're up against now.

[A beat.] I'm not in charge of everyone, but we need to be organized. [She gives a lopsided smile.] Some of you are better at it than others. If no one else will take up the lead, then I'll pick a day and spam everyone with it.

[She's kind of hoping someone else does though. Leading the Mekakushi Dan and leading a small army are pretty different things.]

I've seen a lot of you with good thoughts and ideas though so... let's keep this up.

[Rescue mission...? This is the first time Erza heard of this; a clear indication that choosing to neglect her device had been a poor choice.]

Pardon me, do you have a moment to tell me about this 'rescue'? I've been... away for some time.

[There's a pause and before she adds...]

Sure, I'll fill you in the best I can. Last month, people started to act funny. Lashing out against their friends or loved ones and disappearing. Then there was a party I didn't go to but people were kidnapped and depowered, it was a huge mess. The UE was behind it. So, the Initiative staged a rescue mission where we went in and got them back. Everyone is safe right now but... we're starting to get the details on why they were kidnapped and it's looking really bad.

Last month? Before we...

[Left all those people to die.]

[Apparent brainwashing? Kidnapping? The whole thing was unsettling.]

What was done to them?

I'm not an expert on this but I'll try to sum it up from what I heard. Nothing bad exactly was done to them but... I that the blood the scientists took from them wasn't so innocent. Out on the battlefield, we fought people with powers similar to the people who were kidnapped. They were pretty small. So... now it seems like it was a genetic program of some kind.

[She runs a hand through her hair.] I don't like the implications. The idea that they might've cloned our friends or done something else, that they're preparing for some sort of colonization... I don't like it at all.

From just our blood?

[She is genuinely alarmed by that. The thought of the UE making copies of Natsu or Zeref for their own purposes was frightening and sickening all at once.]

I've fought the United Earth soldiers before, they were already formidable opponents, but with this...

[She shakes her head.]

I suppose the meeting will tell us more.

I'm sorry, I should introduce myself. I'm Erza Scarlet, I'm a Fairy Tail wizard.

[She can understand how shocking it is. Kido knows their group's powers aren't much compared to others but it still makes her skin crawl. She refuses to think if those soldiers looked like their power bearers, too. If someone was out there killing clones of their friends-

Taking a deep breath, she settles herself and nods.]

It's okay. It's a lot to take in. I'm Kido. I run the Mekakushi Dan here. We're just a gang that helps people with small things but things have been getting out of hand here, so... I figured I would try to help out more.

[Erza smiles and gives a nod of affirmation.]

Where I'm from, we call that a guild. I think what you're trying to do is very noble given our circumstances.
