[Kido is trying not to be agitated since a good leader shouldn't be but hey she's tired, things have sucked, the reports from the rescue mission really suck and yeah. So she finds some solace in her old role.

She taps her fingers against her leg, hair damp from one of those lovely short showers with a towel around her neck.]

Hey everyone. I've been thinking it'd be easier to figure out things if we were all together. You know, like a real meeting. What if we just pick a day and grab one of the VR rooms and try to figure this out. Everyone's been getting together the information they got from the rescue mission- [She frowns slightly. None of it sounded good.] -so we've got a better idea of what we're up against now.

[A beat.] I'm not in charge of everyone, but we need to be organized. [She gives a lopsided smile.] Some of you are better at it than others. If no one else will take up the lead, then I'll pick a day and spam everyone with it.

[She's kind of hoping someone else does though. Leading the Mekakushi Dan and leading a small army are pretty different things.]

I've seen a lot of you with good thoughts and ideas though so... let's keep this up.

Well if there's some sorta proper order needed around here after all this time, I guess I oughta finally step up an' take charge.

This sounds like a really good plan. I know it's been difficult to keep up with everything that's happened lately, especially for the newer arrivals.

Were you going to make the information discussed at the meeting public? A lot of people have been going on missions, and no matter which day you pick, there might be someone who just can't make it. So it might be useful to have a written transcript available.

...I'm pretty new and not much of a leader of anything, but I'd like to come and listen, if that's alright.

[Rescue mission...? This is the first time Erza heard of this; a clear indication that choosing to neglect her device had been a poor choice.]

Royalty? [Well that isn't too surprising but wow.] Then I think you should if you feel like it. Everything is pretty disorganized right now. We need someone to get us rallied together.

[Relieved:] Thanks. The more people who join in, the better.

Yeah I think that's a good idea. I could try keeping a transcript. A lot of it would be first person accounts from the rescue mission and people who were held captive, if they wanted to talk about it, and things we learned from it like about Project Chimera. I figured with information so scattered, there's no way everyone can get a hold of it and make a good decision on what we do now.

[He gets to see her groan and flop over like a kid since it's private.]

If no one else is going to be an adult around here then I guess I'll do it.

Of course it is. It's for everyone but especially the new people around here. You guys got stuck with us after a rough time and didn't really get a good explanation.

Sure, I'll fill you in the best I can. Last month, people started to act funny. Lashing out against their friends or loved ones and disappearing. Then there was a party I didn't go to but people were kidnapped and depowered, it was a huge mess. The UE was behind it. So, the Initiative staged a rescue mission where we went in and got them back. Everyone is safe right now but... we're starting to get the details on why they were kidnapped and it's looking really bad.

[Don't call her that she can't hide in her hoodie right now. So she'll just pretend she has to dry her hair better to hide any blush.]

It's just what a good leader should do. I'm not in charge of everyone around here but something has to get done. I feel bad for you guys getting dumped into this mess. How are you doing anyway?

...[The person he likes is avoiding him, he doesn't know anyone here nor have a reason to fight, and he's bored and lonely.

So about the same as always. And he just smiles, and doesn't lie, because he almost never lies, but he's definitely not telling her the whole truth.]

...It's funny, everything looks different but it's a lot like where I'm from.

[Jade's smile is consistent, so at least you can never know for sure when he's laughing more at you than he was a second ago.]
