For the time being, the clinic should be stocked with some personal hygienic products anyone might have been wondering about. There's shampoos, soaps, sanitary napkins, and pads and tampons for the ladies. There's also patches for smokers. Anything else you're looking for, like medicine or bandages, you'll have to check with someone at the clinic.

Anyway, I asked the AI the decrypt a couple of drives belonging to the UE. There were various analytical notes specializing in robotics, specifically robotic spacecraft — rovers. For those unfamiliar: a rover is a vehicle used in space explorations. Depending on the design, they can either be partially or completely operated on their own, or they can transport crews.

There's a couple of bad ideas that come to mind knowing this information: one being they may have plans to come up here eventually and if they aren't fully aware how many of us are here, they'll find out.

Research also indicated "interdimensional colonization". We've been well aware for a while they're able to access portals into other worlds.

The drives also contained some notes on Project Chimera and talks of previous genetic projects the UE's researched. I'll forward anyone who wants a copy of these notes to look over.

Has anyone begun to compile the information we have together to make it more streamlined? I imagine the AI can likely do it if you ask.

Yeah. Have you ever heard of the Reach? Thanks. I'm only taking the parts that are relevant to the whole cloning thing for this set of notes anyway.

They're super-advanced aliens. They go to other planets and dump mind control chemicals into the water supply. It takes a hundred years, but the end goal is to enslave the people living there and exploit their planet's resources. And they use artificial life to do it too, with implanted memories.

I don't think the UE would have the patience to wait one hundred years. They've still got drugs, if I recall.

Yeah not the hundred years part. And they don't want Exsilium's resources obviously, but they're using a lot of the same techniques.

Maybe they've sucked most of the resources out of this world already.

But now they know that a lot of other ones exist.

Might be it was never about this world. This world's resources might have become useless after a certain point in the war or they're through with whatever they can get their hands on.

Might be. They're not so bad off that they won't destroy an entire world just to make a point.

There's more where that came from. I mean I'm not saying that's for sure what they're after but I wouldn't put it past them.

Kills morale. Stirred tension within the Transport community and heightened it, too. We were blaming each other for what happened. In any case, they want more power and will do anything to obtain it. They'll even grab Transports, replicate their DNA, and use it against them. Might not have plans to kill us all, but we'll grow useless to them when they've gotten what they came after in the first place.

Oh. Yeah. All that stuff too.

So... what I'm getting here is that they'll probably want to kill us all eventually. I know there's two more people besides me who can breathe in space, so we can at least scout out the place and see if their rovers are up here yet.

I don't have to prep at all, so there's nothing stopping me from checking now.
