Okay, now that people have the hang of doing supply runs, question:

We're probably going to still be here through the end of November at least. Anyone up for making some kind of Thanksgiving-like celebration? People can give suggestions for their favorite kinds of foods from home, and if we set some aside from each supply run until then, we might have enough to have something nice for each other to eat and give thanks for. It's not really like the American tradition, but like... I don't know, I had fun with this last year with my friends, and I thought it might be nice? Something to look forward to!

We'd need people who can cook, or those who can set up tables, or do dishes, and clean up, and those on supply runs to see if they can handle bringing in a bit extra when they go out.

Anyone else feel up for this?

[... Thinking about it, he doesn't really have a lot of time to make things for himself. He usually just buys something off the streets. Does his apartment even have a kitchen? Wow.

(It does and he cooks in it sometimes but he's usually a street food eater.)]

When I have the time I like to make cheese fondue for Fondue, my dog. He loves it.

Other than that, I do like Steak au Poivre. It's a piece of beef that's coated in cracked peppercorns and cooked. Like the above, it's simple but delicious. I didn't have it as often as I would've liked back home so I don't expect any more here, but I've always been a street eater.

Though, to be honest, if someone were to give me instructions I think I could make anything they wanted.

His breed is known for their less than gassy reactions to eating cheese, so there's not a problem on that end at least.

[It's a blessing.]

Then I'll be happy to oblige. Even we Parisians have our own spin on that dish, so if you'd like I could make some for you. If you're the one judging.

[And a quick check shows she's right! Alright. Noodles. He'll have to see what's on hand in the kitchen before he gets a plan in his head. And Fondue has to stay in the room. No pets allowed in the cooking process!]

Got it. I see that there's others offering too cook too, and I was thinking it'd be fun to see who cooked the meals the best - but we don't have the resources to spare for that, even if others might be getting extra food, so I guess that's out of the question.

It would be! How was the quality of food down there anyway?

And compared to what we have here? I guess that's why so many are eager to go on supplies runs other than that it might not last us however long we're staying here.

Definitely not feast worthy. I suppose I can visit Paris sometime and pick up a few things as a quick trip when it's needed. I never thought to ask this, but is there a limit as to how far we can go back in time at all? Since I've heard some people have seen dinosaurs and all.
