Okay, now that people have the hang of doing supply runs, question:

We're probably going to still be here through the end of November at least. Anyone up for making some kind of Thanksgiving-like celebration? People can give suggestions for their favorite kinds of foods from home, and if we set some aside from each supply run until then, we might have enough to have something nice for each other to eat and give thanks for. It's not really like the American tradition, but like... I don't know, I had fun with this last year with my friends, and I thought it might be nice? Something to look forward to!

We'd need people who can cook, or those who can set up tables, or do dishes, and clean up, and those on supply runs to see if they can handle bringing in a bit extra when they go out.

Anyone else feel up for this?

That's a little excessive, don't you think?

We don't even have room for the extra food!

I suppose that's true... although I'd rather we hold off on the lavish celebrations until AFTER we get our feet back on the ground.

It's not just being here.

[Huh, what could that mean?]

I just don't want people to forget that we're still fighting a war and not necessarily winning at it either.
