( there's a slight sound of rustling after the feed clicks on, as oz makes himself more comfortable on a seat in the observatory. why he's there late at night — night by circadian rhythms, anyway, simulated nights on the moon — is anyone's guess, or maybe it's obvious enough. in any case, when he speaks up a moment later, he sounds to be in a good enough mood. )
What's your favorite story? Scary ones are probably best for late at night, but what I really want to hear about are everyone's favorites. For instance, something about a princess and a dragon, or maybe a mystery with a twist ending, or something out of history....ah, if you make it up or adapt it from a book, that's fine too! Or even if it's a real one that's happened to someone you know, ( and a light laugh ) — don't worry, I don't tell anyone!
But it's rude to ask without giving my own preference, right? I can start with mine, if anyone wants.
( he'll tell people about holy knight. all about it!!!! don't ask him about it. )

... Fondue is okay with this, though he still gives a half-hearted 'wrof' at the thought of a cat.]
That's good, actually. Can you imagine taking care of a cat that could turn invisible or something? Talk about a challenge.
video ahah i once played someone w an invisible dog
But that sounds fun! You could play a lot of exciting games ( and pranks ) with a pet like that, and it'd never get boring.
video WELL THEN how did that work out huh? sounds like fun
[Fondue loves the attention so he doesn't mind.]
How about a pet that can go super fast? Or one that could change colors? Flying and supersonic voices - there's a number of weird powers they could have, even combos!
[-- Actually this is starting to sound REALLY FUN. Maybe he'll pick up a super powered pet for Charlie.]
video HER ROOMMATES WERE LESS THAN PLEASED
( he finds the notion as exciting, so he listens to the options eagerly )
All of those powers at once! Or ones that are super strong or can even talk back to you!
video HAHAHAHA
Fortunately, Fondue and I know each other well enough to be able to talk to each other without any kind of secret power. [Woeuf!] But this is only the tip of the iceberg. If there were any that were affected by the radiation in a physical way, we could have pets that had anything from wings to fur that shot off like pins. Or extra limbs. Undead animals too.
video
I've heard about undead animals here once, but that was before I got here. A lot — I've never been to the Outlands ( while fully conscious anyway, shh ) but there were a lot of radiation-affected animals there.
video
And I'm guessing not many people bring them home as pets. So how did you get your normal cat?
video
As for my cat, I won him in a game.
video
But they have games like that? I'm surprised to hear that.
video
that is what a herd sounds like, raphael, though they're usually (hopefully) significantly less scary. )
video
Fondue, Fondue, it's fine. We won't be meeting anything like that around here for some time. [Hrrroeuf.] Was their milk good?
[The important questions.]
video
( MOURNFULLY )
There wasn't a chance to milk or even shear them properly.
