( there's a slight sound of rustling after the feed clicks on, as oz makes himself more comfortable on a seat in the observatory. why he's there late at night — night by circadian rhythms, anyway, simulated nights on the moon — is anyone's guess, or maybe it's obvious enough. in any case, when he speaks up a moment later, he sounds to be in a good enough mood. )
What's your favorite story? Scary ones are probably best for late at night, but what I really want to hear about are everyone's favorites. For instance, something about a princess and a dragon, or maybe a mystery with a twist ending, or something out of history....ah, if you make it up or adapt it from a book, that's fine too! Or even if it's a real one that's happened to someone you know, ( and a light laugh ) — don't worry, I don't tell anyone!
But it's rude to ask without giving my own preference, right? I can start with mine, if anyone wants.
( he'll tell people about holy knight. all about it!!!! don't ask him about it. )

[See, the thing is-- well, there's been an apocalypse in Finn's world, right?]
Once upon a time, way back during the Dog-Rainicorn wars, when dogs were really poor and junk, there was a litter of dogs! Nine of them! Butter and Wanda and Josh and Martha and Juan and Elizabeth and Stan and Hansel and Gretel-- and Hansel and Gretel were the runts. So their parents were like, oh man, we can't feed all these pups! What are we gonna do?
[--so some stories are a little . . . warped.]
So they were like, pups! You gotta go! And their mom bit and snapped at them until they were, like, in the middle of the forest, and then she covered her tracks so they couldn't follow!
So then the pups were like, oh my glob! What the flip are we gonna do? And Gretel was like, oh my god, I totally know! So she used all her senses-- looking and listening and, uh, others, and smelling-- and she found a good scent! So she tracked it and tracked it and finally found this huuuuuuuge house! It was made of bones and meat and candy and cupcakes. And Hansel and Gretel, they hadn't eaten in, like, forever, so they started eating the house!

Eating the house! I can understand them being hungry, but what if someone lives there?
