[So this hasn't been a traumatic last few days at all. Still Sky assumes it's better to at least find something to do than sit around and think about how she isn't home. Or about how people were just killed on earth. What she's supposed to do? She doesn't know. She amusingly assumes to herself that at least no one will need her to cook any books here.]

Ugh, hi. I'm Skyler. [Because while only a handful here are associated with her husband, she would rather leave him out of this.]

I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do. [And this is already starting to sound like an AA introduction or something.] I'm a mom back home. It's the one thing I'm really good at.

I like to write, and I don't really have powers. Or know how to fight. Well. [She doesn't want to think about the fight with the kitchen knife, so instead she just breathes and nods.]

I'm not sure what I could really do here, but I'm good with children. I have two of my own, and I'd like to help if I can.

Space is in low commodity, but there are spare rooms to be had that can be requested to be saved by the Initiative. Supplies are drawn in by those who dare to go on missions.

People have told me about the missions. I wonder how we get on them. [Because this is a 'we' thing now. Even if she doesn't know you're freaking Anne Boleyn.]

I have only been sent on one, and it was a missive sent by the Initiative proper. Now...I suppose we are to send requests ourselves, mayhap through the tablet machine. I would sooner see a man's face, however.

I have simply not thought on where I might go or what I might do. Much of what Americans have called history has yet to happen as I know it. But I do know of my times, and the times before, and of where we might retain certain goods.

But where to find information, where to learn the secrets that will unravel the United Earth, in that I am at a loss.

That just means you need a partner, someone who might know a little more. Not saying I know this United Earth at all, but you seem like a smart woman. I think we could do a lot together.
