[So this hasn't been a traumatic last few days at all. Still Sky assumes it's better to at least find something to do than sit around and think about how she isn't home. Or about how people were just killed on earth. What she's supposed to do? She doesn't know. She amusingly assumes to herself that at least no one will need her to cook any books here.]

Ugh, hi. I'm Skyler. [Because while only a handful here are associated with her husband, she would rather leave him out of this.]

I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do. [And this is already starting to sound like an AA introduction or something.] I'm a mom back home. It's the one thing I'm really good at.

[It's not entirely true, but she doesn't really know what else to say, and who needs an accountant in space?]

I like to write, and I don't really have powers. Or know how to fight. Well. [She doesn't want to think about the fight with the kitchen knife, so instead she just breathes and nods.]

I'm not sure what I could really do here, but I'm good with children. I have two of my own, and I'd like to help if I can.

I studied Accounting and ran the books for two different companies. [Never mind she cooked them.]

Now there's a handy skill. I've been trying to work out what all we'll need based on how many patients they usually go through in a month or so, but I'm awful with numbers.

[That's not entirely true, but she does do a lot better with the practical side of things.]

Right now we're focusing on organizing supply runs, and we wanna make sure we get enough of everything without getting too much of any one thing, either. Helping us organize an inventory might be a little more interesting than stocking, right?

Supply runs to where? [Is there a base on Mars or something?]

Oh, um, right. [It makes sense she might not be caught up on the mission things, just yet.] We have a time travel machine that can send us to anywhere in this Earth's past, so a few of us are planning to head back a couple centuries and get the supplies we need to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Oh, right. Someone just explained to me the time machine thing. [Because this doesn't seem at all like something on Sci-Fi or whatever the hell it changed it's name to.]

Yeah, I can do that. If you can just show me some spreadsheets, I can see what I can come up with.

Don't worry if it takes a little while to get your head around, not everyone's had experience with time travel before.

[Steph you don't even have experience with time travel. You've just heard people talk about.]

Spreadsheets might be getting ahead of ourselves, but I'll see what I can do. The head of the clinic, Ashraf, might be a little useless on that front but I'm sure Donny and I can work something out.

[He wears robes, okay. He probably wouldn't know a spreadsheet if it bit him in the ass.]

Well any sort of data can work. I might be able to do the spreadsheets myself. [It's something she knows about.]

We'd appreciate that a lot, I'm sure. [Like super a lot. a+ Skyler] I dunno if the tablets have any like - Excel software, but if it doesn't I have a friend who could probably write us something. [a beat] Or I could just grab you a laptop when I go on a mission next, any preferences?

I've been thinking about picking up something for myself, anyway, the tablet screens are a little on the small side.

I'm not sure then... just something that will work, has excel, that I can carry around.

Question though-- is there a way to request things for a supply run?

I'll save you the trouble of learning to use a Mac, my boss swears by them and the switch over was annoying.

We're working on one for the clinic, of course, but I don't think there's one for regular sorta stuff. You could probably tell the Initiative tech that's running the Trasporter, and he could pass it on. [a beat] That's not a bad idea, though.
