Captain's Log; 00.3 (text)
I've got a hypothetical situation for you. It's relevant to our current predicament.
If you were married to some idiotic heroic type, the type that would say run into the arms of a nuke in a desperate attempt to save a dying nation, but the benevolent Initiative resurrected them, are you still a widower?
More importantly, if they didn't leave a will, do I still get all of their stuff?
Remember, this is all hypothetical. Nobody died. I think.

[He raises his eyebrow.]
You the widower to be or the one who's doin' the widowing?
text;
If your spouse is dead, there's nothing really stopping you from taking their stuff.
... Were you in this marriage only to take their belonging in the end?
no subject
Though if you decided to remain a widower and collect their assets, at the very least wear black for the appropriate length of time to avoid looking tasteless.
text;
You do want all of their things, don't you?
no subject
[Spelling is not his strong point.]
It seems to me like most ppl would want to be happy their spouse was back and just move on, but in a way they were still widowed. So. IDK. I don't think that's something a crowd of strangers can decide on. Marriage is so personal.
