But he appreciates how forward Kevin is being. It's only because he's not an Angel from his own universe that he's having this conversation at all - the shared former position and the Angel's flawed status are just little bonuses that make him not want to rip off the other wing with his bare hands.]

[There are not many angels in his own universe that wouldn't have recognized him on spot. To Kevin, lies are like comfortable traps. He needs them in order to shelter what he loves, but is also aware of their danger. He has always been a good keeper of secrets, but not a particularly good liar. An angel through and through.

[Even knowing Kevin's identity, the differences are what give Lucifer his patience. Were it his own Uriel, he'd wouldn't even have this meeting in the first place, but this one could either be a valuable ally or, worst case scenario, another Angel to butt heads with - and one he wasn't particularly worried about, if he's honest.
