[Well, this is certainly a very shaky view of Kevin’s old fashioned dress shoes. And hey, now what seems like a thumb has blocked the camera. ]
…Hm? Oh! Is it working?
[He shakes the tablet, apparently under the impression that kinetic energy might help it function a little better. The sad truth is that it doesn't.]
Ah, I-I hope so. Hm, sir? Madam? My name is Kevin Cecil, and it recently came to my attention that now I can…heal minor afflictions and illnesses of different natures. If I can be of any assistance, do not hesitate to contact me. I’m currently at…Oh dear Lord, is that St Paul’s?!

He is not who he thinks he is. Kevin wonders if it is alright to go hide in his complimentary screened-off cot and have a good cry.
Instead, he ends up taking a deep breath and attempting a smile.]
My apologies, sir. You remind me of my young master.
no subject
No, there's nothing to apologize for. It's nice to meet you — my name is Oz.
no subject
[You are my new favorite person in all Exsilium.]
...It is also wrong to hear other people's conversations.
[Although his words belong to a reprimand, his tone of voice and smile do not.]

No, no, no! Just Oz is fine.
no subject
But if it's among friends, it should be fine!
no subject
Naturally, Kevin finds his petulance adorable.]
...I hope you have not learned this philosophy from Mister Break.
no subject
he laughs. )
He really does seem like the kind of person to do something like that, doesn't he?
no subject
Oh my, I barely know him.
[Yes. Absolutely.]
no subject
( because that isn't ominous at all. )
no subject
I-in fact, I would like to examine his coughing.
1/2
That's...
no subject
That's very kind of you, Kevin! It's really incredible to have an ability like healing. I'm impressed!
no subject
It is not...mine per se. It comes from this place, you see. For some reason, that is the hm...sentient weapon I ended up with. Even so, I still have to practice in order to achieve better results. At this juncture, all I can do is hope that Mister Break will feel more comfortable.
no subject
Still, still! If you chose a weapon like that, even without thinking about it too much, it says a lot about you! People who want to help others are admirable, don't you think?
no subject
[Not when they have spent most of eternity being the Angel of Repentance.]
...Indeed, they are quite admirable, though M--Oz truly overestimates me.

[This expression makes me feel things.
Should I be concerned? Am I doomed?
no subject
( but you know if you choose to make him pastries he won't say no )
no subject
It is with certain hesitation that he reaches for his pocket and then takes out a decorated visiting card case. However, as he flips the lid open, Oz can see that there is no card inside, but a small daguerreotype of a blond boy with green eyes. He looks very, very serious, and was probably around ten years old when the picture was taken. He shows the picture at the tablet.]
Here.
[Pastries indeed.]
no subject
There really is a resemblance! What's his name?
no subject
He is not here.
[And Kevin cannot decided whether this is a good or a bad thing.]
no subject
What a good name! It sounds really distinguished. You'll introduce us if we ever get the chance, right?
( doesn't bother directly offering hopes that william might be taken here too — true as it is — because it certainly wasn't something that'd ever made him feel better during those early months, even before some of the truly terrible things started happening. )
no subject
...O-of course! I would prepare a tea party for both.
[With pastries.]
no subject
but at the notion of a tea party, he makes a pleased sound. )
Really?
( WILL THERE BE SHORTCAKES. )
no subject
Really.
[Who has ever heard of a tea party without shortcakes?]
