It is not...mine per se. It comes from this place, you see. For some reason, that is the hm...sentient weapon I ended up with. Even so, I still have to practice in order to achieve better results. At this juncture, all I can do is hope that Mister Break will feel more comfortable.

( he straightens as he watches kevin, curious, and leans into the tablet a bit to get a better look — first at what he's doing, and then at the picture. it only takes a moment to get it, and he smiles. )

There really is a resemblance! What's his name?

[And Kevin cannot decided whether this is a good or a bad thing.]

( he remembers arriving here months before gil ever did, spending every day reminding himself it was for the best that gil wouldn't have to bear the weight of a place like this. he's still relieved that gil eventually did arrive, selfish as it is, and he can imagine that perhaps this isn't so different. )
