[now here's someone you haven't heard from in awhile. remember when she was trying to get a meeting organized?
well yeah that fell through as soon as somebody started poisoning the waterhole. while her physical appearance is tidied up and her expression is set and strong, there's a tired look in her eyes. she's somewhere in her flat.]
My apologies for having not been on top of recent events as of late. It seems as though I had...suffered the brunt of these induced hallucinations and nightmares.
[she rubs the back of her neck absentmindedly. she's forgotten that the chip's still there.]
Had I not been incapacitated, perhaps my suggested meeting could have been organized and brought light to the issues at hand. However it seems that everything, for the most part, is sorted out for the time being. I still hold the belief that gathering together to talk and plan, whether it be in relation to missions or current events, is still in our best interest. I will put that on hold, however, for it seems there are some amongst us who feel it is best to flee.
I find that running from ones problems does not solve much of anything, but so be it. I have my hopes that you return...[ALMOST ADDED AS AN AFTERTHOUGHT] safe, of course.
Now then, if there is anything you feel as though I have missed while I was...[she's searching for a word to use, brows narrowed thoughtfully] out of commission please feel free to relay me the information. I would greatly appreciate it.

voice;
No, nothing much.
voice;
and she totally saw that.]
Ah. Good then. Then it appears that I am not too far behind on recent going-ons.
voice;
He's pretty used to half the people he knows getting a little lost in translation, though.]
Nah, not really. All's quiet on the metaphorical western front, for now.
So, public forum to vent all our frustrations? Sounds like it could be fun.
voice;
how rude Joker be sensitive to the medieval fantasy types.
a pause as she...assesses what he's saying.]
I do not know many who would find meetings fun...but yes. Not only will it be used to vent, however, but sit together and plan for future events such as the situation we had faced over the past few weeks.
We have in our midst many talented individuals, but we have failed to organize ourselves in a cohesive unit. I find a meeting would remedy that.
voice;
No, no, he's just gonna have to get you fantasy kids hip to the jive. And maybe reread some Tolkien.
He, as always, charges in without a whole lot of thought.]
Sorry, that was my sarcasm failing to get through. I'm glad to see someone stepping up to the plate, though.
Need any help? As long as it doesn't involve heavy lifting, I mean. [Because someone's feeling restless.]
voice;
Someone has to step-up. I see a few others have done so as well.
[she's living with Alistair so she's so used to sarcasm she just
doesn't care anymore]
I doubt gathering a meeting would require much physical activity. I have already received the go-ahead from those in authority, so all that I need to do now is organize and find a decent space to hold the meeting and figure out how exactly things will be run, seeing as I am no longer dealing with nobles.
However, I would not be opposed to whatever help you may offer.
voice;
[Definitely something you'd get used to, living with him!]
You'd be surprised. Nobles, huh? Sounds like you wouldn't get a whole lot of actual work done, dealing with them. [There's the audible sound of him scratching at his beard as he thinks.] Anyway, what kind of venue are you looking for? Somewhere close to the Initiative or the apartments?
Great. Just say the word.
voice;
voice;
I fear I might as well have been dead considering how quiet I have been.
voice;
voice;
Or have there been kidnappings?
voice;
voice;
Has there still been no word on these disappearances?
voice;
No. I assumed they were sent back home or found unsuitable for their needs, and yet they are still bringing more in, including children.
voice;
Of course, more children. What's a war without child soldiers.
voice;
A ridiculous one, no doubt.
voice;
I have known many who could, in fact, handle themselves in a fight. At home I was trained with a sword and arrow since I was seven. However, something as large scale as this is worrisome to say the least.

But, uh. Sorry I can't be of much help, ma'am. I only got here recently so if you already heard about the food and water stuff getting fixed, that's all I've got.
Hope you're feeling better, though.
[video]
I am not quite certain I know what you mean by a town hall. Is that some form of council? I would think of it more as a Landsmeet if anything, though I doubt that word has much meaning to those outside of Thedas.
[AW SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THIS KID AND HE'S HOPING SHE FEELS BETTER. it's not much but her lips quirk up into a small
a very small and soft smile.]
I am, for the most part, thank you. I am sorry you did not come at a more pleasant time. It seems there is always something amiss here.
[video]
That's probably it. People just getting together to share information so everyone knows what's going on, right?
[And really, his best friend from home got hit with the nightmares, too. He wouldn't want to wish that on anybody, even an enemy, really, and Anora's just a stranger.]
Ahaha, yeah, I... was starting to wonder if there were any pleasant times, here.
[video]
[a considerable pause, another thoughtful moment]
I have found that there are...quieter times. I hesitate to call anything pleasant around here, though that is more of a personal matter.
[video]
[And his head tilts inquisitively.]
Well, considering why everyone's here in the first place. Or did you mean something else?
voice;
voice;
Problems do not necessarily fix themselves while your back is turned.
voice;
But you're not there anymore.
voice;
voice;
Not dying.
Take your pick!

We need a representative of some sort, someone in the Initiate with our interests. We need to keep a close watch on them. Otherwise, this will only get worse.
[video]
Are you okay now?

[video]
I'm Lea. What's your name?
no subject
[why yes he had to include the plural because it's Alistair he loves]
no subject
I would assume this sort of meeting is far more my sort of thing than his, seeing as he always had the Warden making his decisions...
[NOPE YOU TOTALLY DIDN'T HEAR THAT LAST BIT.]
Nevertheless, thank you. We so appreciate the support.
