Good morning, Exsilium. Your resident legal experts — Sonya Karimov and myself — are curious about those of you who have leadership experience. In the interest of looking toward a brighter future in which we Transports have a self-governing body, we're asking anyone who formerly held a position of command to answer the following questions.
If you're uncomfortable with sharing this information publicly, encrypt your responses or contact one of us directly.

Does your intended committee believe we shouldn't attempt to find a safe way to leave, and fight this war until it's conclusion? What if the technology that resurrects those killed in battle stops working? Do you still want to fight?
There's also children here. Those not combat oriented. Plague, bombings.
[Do you need a laundry list of why this is a bad idea, because he could keep going. It would likely devolve into- I hate dirt, it rains all the time, no one is nice to me, blah blah blah. But. He could]

I can't speak for a committee that hasn't formed yet.

You want to form a committee with no goal in mind? How do you plan to accomplish anything, if you won't even offer up topics for discussion?
[You're more useless than the Senate and you haven't even done anything. Yeah, he votes dictatorship]
no subject
When did I say there was no goal in mind? What I said was that I can't predict what the as-yet-unformed committee will believe or not believe. And there's no discussion to be had with said committee yet because, once again, it doesn't exist yet.

[Cut to the chase dude- He has no time for shenanigans]

But I will point out, as I often do because people seem to overlook this unfortunate fact, that this is not just the Initiative's war.

How is it not?

The United Earth doesn't even have this kind of technology. Since they've made a starship that functions, it isn't that they don't have the resources.
[Especially when you consider they're basically swimming in pools of gold and trinkets in comparison to the Initiative]
Which means they're not going to be able to figure it out. If they get their hands on this, it's unpredictable. But the majority of the residents all seem to be from the same place.
The way I see it, really only one World is in danger here. The one that we're living on. It's fates already sealed either way.
[On second thought, he might have been punched less for laughing]

Those are just the facts I've learned since arriving here. If they had the technology, don't you think they'd use it on a greater scale and none of us would be left?
Unless, of course, you have some top secret information, that you're just keeping from the population at large?
[So no really, it's still Earth that's just fucked. Sad for you]

[Also, there are ways to get the information but whatever, details]

We'll see.

[Thanks for changing his mind, dude!]
