Good morning, Exsilium. Your resident legal experts — Sonya Karimov and myself — are curious about those of you who have leadership experience. In the interest of looking toward a brighter future in which we Transports have a self-governing body, we're asking anyone who formerly held a position of command to answer the following questions.

If you're uncomfortable with sharing this information publicly, encrypt your responses or contact one of us directly.

Just Senator now, thank you.

[Now that the formalities are done... she's hardly reassured by anything she just read.]

Regardless of intent, forming a separate Transport body will only cause more harm than good.

I believe I already stated my concerns. By acting on what you propose, all you're creating is a precedent for division.

[She could explain, in great detail, what separation means. What it leads to. What the present situation is ripe to follow. But for now, she stays her hand. For right now, only the present argument is relevant.]

Separation is the last thing we need, especially when tensions are already present. [Just going to spell it out for you, bro] It would be more beneficial to remind ourselves that we're all working toward a common goal.

What kind of message does it send to the native population of Exsilium if we break away with our own Transport-run government? I don't disagree that the Initiative appears to be less than effective in its leadership, and that Transport anger is justified, but there is much more at stake here.

I am not proposing a subcommittee under Initiative control. I am proposing a united, cooperative body of elected representatives who will be voices for all the people, as well as move our cause forward.

Perhaps, then, we agree to disagree on the ramifications of your proposal.

[It's enough to merit argument, in her eyes, that a separate, Transport-only entity is being proposed.

But that's not the only thing she takes issue with.]

I will attend the meeting. However, I find it inadvisable to limit the airing of concerns to one avenue.
