[Wow, Jesse is so tanned, he almost looks healthy. Almost.]

Yo, 'sup. I'm Jesse Pinkman, talking about the usual thing I talk about around this time every month. I mean cookies. You guys that're new, you probably saw me and some other people out there in the rain the day you got here, handing out free snacks and umbrellas and whatever. That's a regular thing, we do it every month for the new arrivals. It ain't a paying job, it's just like volunteer work.

Anyway, we'll be meeting up on the 30th for baking up in my unit, which is 409. Come if you want to, even if you don't know how to cook. I'll help you through it. It's real easy. It's pretty chill, no pressure, just listening to some music and making snacks. I got all the supplies we need, but if you got extra ingredients you wanna bring, that's cool. Variety and whatnot.

See, if it was me... Like, if I gave you the verstatsi and you didn't start tripping balls right away, I'd be suspicious. Lock you in a cage, try to figure out your shit. They'd start experimenting on you, you know? See what you could take. Then they'd probably bring a Void in, take your immortality, shoot you up, and wipe you.

[That last point punctuated by sweep of his hand. Wow, Jesse sure does know a lot about being a supervillain.]

It'd be like Adam all over again. Except without the cyborg part.

So, I mean, yeah. We could test it on you here. But I dunno how much good it's gonna do you.

Are they really that powerful? It's a wonder we're even still here, in the face of such an opponent! Hmm. I suppose the last thing we want is for them to take my immortality and figure out how to use it for themselves, but I don't think it works like that for me. I don't think they'd be able to just take it. Hard to say, though!

So that's what happened to that Adam fellow? [He knew the man had died, but Elmer was a bit distracted since he was back on his home world, stuck in the ocean as the UE destroyed everything.]

[Jesse shifts uncomfortably when Elmer questions the U.E.'s void abilities, though his unease is easily explained away by his next words:]

Ah, they turned him into a walking bomb. He killed me and a bunch of other people. The Initiative still ain't been able to revive him.

I see... So they are really crafty, the UE. I may have to think on what it is I can do a little while longer, then. Find the absolute best way to go unnoticed!
