( gamora's been lucky enough to avoid getting sick and to avoid being squished into green paste by the bombing. it's been a lively month, but her expression is far from amused. or even the general disdain she's taken to addressing the network with.
it's settled into something that's obviously 'intense dislike'. )
Next time anyone tries to pick a fight with me I'm going to do more than dent a wall with them. Especially if their reasoning is "someone who clearly isn't human, they must be someone we don't want around!". Terrans are outnumbered everywhere in the galaxy except for this rock, and yet somehow you think you're special.
Get over yourselves.
( guess who's just been harassed by a citizen of exsilium who has it in for those obvious transports? and guess who ever so kindly did nothing to improve the relationship between the two groups? )

( except for the kree, maybe, but most of their issues are internal instead of external. all gamora knows is that she didn't have to deal with this in space. )

I don't make a habit of associating with species as a whole. Maybe that's the solution.
video
It is highly unlikely this behavior will continue indefinitely. I plan to ignore it, unless I am forced to do otherwise.
video
There's no cure for stupidity. Even if it stops it won't go away.
video
It is. And there are tens of thousands of sentient, space-faring races in it.
[She was under the impression that education, at least, could mitigate some of the worst of it.]
Humans have the unfortunate tendency to be emotional creatures. Not all of us are able to control it.
video
( it makes avoiding races easy if you simply go where the people who fall through the cracks are. no overwhelming number of any one species. )
You'd think they'd try.
( not that gamora might admit that the fact they could be so stubborn and set in their ways as something that works in their favor. )
video
There are many of them.
[Her head tilts slightly, unconscious ticks she developed when she's Explaining Things.]
At times, emotional control is seen as a desirable trait. It's one that I have cultivated, however, it usually results in a negative perception.
video
By humans or by other species? Because humanity can't talk about what's acceptable or not in other species without inserting their food into their mouths.
video
[And she doesn't know anything but Borg designations for others. Which is kind of awkward and no one would know what she's talking about anyway.]
video
( she's pretty okay with her species not existing in other universes on the whole - and even if they did exist in whatever weird similar universe stark's from, they're probably all dead. )
video
[Despite knowing a lot of them.]
Even if I were aware of a species that existed in both our universes, you would not be aware of the Borg species designation to confirm it.
video
( as far as gamora's concerned there's only a few species she could be - and none of them sound anything like 'Borg'. )
video
Partly. The Borg Collective is made up of individuals from thousands of different species. I am a human that was assimilated by the Borg, and later severed from the Collective.
video
( gamora's own memories of a similar experience - assimilation - are definitely ones she's trying to forget, and her expression darkens at the other's words. )
video
No. Drones that are still a part of the Collective are referred to by their designations, nearly exclusively. If they are addressed in an individual sense at all.
